Shalom Sis, Thanks so much for this info. There are so many products out there that claim one thing and don't do anything. Meanwhile, your money is spent and your still not satisfied, ya know. Plus I've been looking for a shampoo for myself and my children's locks that will help with buildup.
You made a great video, and lovely bird, I have started using Dr. Bronner's and now I'm sticking to it, I will try the bar of soap, I will never use anything else ever again.
Mina I hope to visit Canada with my tribe "children" soon. You have inspired me in so many ways to go back to what I love. I was a natural hair stylist for many years but my teaching career hasn't lent me to the time. I currently sell natural products to a selected few. Keep the vlogs going sistren!! Peace and blessings…. Sabirah
I love your hair. I had my first set of locs for 7 years and I loved them, but chopped them off for a new start, now I'm 1 year and 8 months into my new ones and I want them thicker, I know I have to stop retwisting but do you have any other pointers?
Gurl luv your vids but skip that overpriced Bronners and get you a Chandrika ( green box) Ayurveda soap bar. I get mine for $1.25. Smells better, works better, lathers better, leaves no residue and cures all scalp conditions. Bronners can kick sand. And if you have junk in your locs or on scalp. Put equal part lemon juice and water ( for your length about 3 lemons squeezed with equal part water. ( or you can use the juice of about 3 or 4 oranges for your length ) Message on scalp and squeeze through locs. Cover with a big plastic bag if you have one, wait 20 minutes and then wash with chandrika ( green box) bar. Gurl…nothing comes close. Have tried everything and this is the best. ACV has nothing on orange juice and it conditions while removing gunk.
I so agree with you on the review of this product Mina. I use Dr. Bronner's Soaps and have found them very refreshing and potent. In case you still have itchy scalp issues, maybe you can try a humectant to put moisture back into your scalp such as Vegetable Glycerin……….
Hey, great video! I was wondering if you could help me out, I want to get dreadlocks using the natural/free form method, I was recommended the following shampoos: Knottyboy, Dreadheadhq, Dolly Locks & Super Dreads. I've seen one neglect video and he used Dr Bronner's, and I've seen your review on Dr Brooner's. I live in Australia so it's a price thing, Dr Bronner's has a store in Australia and the others don't so the postage on the others is horrendous. Would you recommend this soap for a naturally oily scalp and for natural/free form dreads? Or should I pay the extra for postage to get a better soap for my natural/free form dreads? Thanks in advance! Your deadlocks look awesome by the way!
OMG! I Love your dreadies :3 I´m just about to order a Dr Bronner Soap Bar for my own dreads right now but i can´t decide which one i´m going to pick, cause they all seem to smell fantastic! Any ideas? Which scent is your favourite? I´m ordering online so i don´t have the chance to sniff around haha ^_^
Sistren check out another youtuber, she's posted some great stuff about the Dr Bronner's Peppermint toothpaste . Her name is: Real Beautiful and it comes in a 5oz/ 140g tube. Stay blessed.
omygod birdie :0 <3 how precious! i just started using DrBronners on my regular straight hair and i used the liquid and the next day i woke up my hair felt slightly waxy and oily and stiff like i hadnt even washed it ?!? strange. but i think its cause its my first time usin it so my hair needs to recalibrate
I use Dr Bronners it gets my hair clean Be careful of getting it in your eyes I got it in one of my eyes burns really bad rinsed eye with water Now I use my beach googles when I wash my hair to protect my eyes they fit tight so that will never happen again just thought I would share peace and love
my hair has a stick feel to it after i wash it why is that? Almost like a wax feel. I use 1/2 tbsp of soap in a water bottle and fill it up to half way with water.
I’ve been trying to find a video with someone who uses the bar as a shampoo. I was curious about whether or not it works as well as the liquid version. Thanks!

Yes this product is good. But right after I have to put oils in my hair because the shampoo dries my hair out.
where are some places you can buy the dr. bronners soap in Toronto????
Did you need to use a conditioner afterwords? Did it leave a shine or condition as well? Just bought the peppermint.
should I use distilled water (buy a distilled or soft shower head) or can I use the water that comes out my regular shower head.
thank you. I have been using african black soap which I still love but theres no scent. Im going to try some of this next week
