Sharing with you the skincare products have had in my skincare routine the longest time and the true Holy Grails which helped me reach my skin goals
Hey guys and welcome back to Mad About Skin where today I want to share with you the 10/10 skincare products which have been in my skincare routine the longest and which I should consider to be my true holy grail products and skincare favourites.
Its often commented that here in the skincare community we switch up products too frequently and whilst there is always a focus on the new brands and new products, there are some products which have been in my skincare routine for a long time and I want to share them with you today.
I would love to know what product you have had in your skincare routine the longest so please leave me a comment below with any of your skin care favourites.
If you enjoyed this video and would like to see more similar ones then please let me know by giving it a thumbs up and a like.

Hi all! Can't find The Inkey List Azelaic Acid serum on their website – has it been discontinued?? Hope not!
Banana boat – light as air spf 50. If it’s every discontinued I’ll have to buy a thousand bottle s
I really like Australian gold sunscreen but coco kind has a nice mineral one too. Aveda has a nice tinted sunscreen too. I never see anyone mention aveda.
I have terribly dry skin and live in a desert. Honestly the only products that consistently work for me are the LRP Lipikar AP + moisturizing wash and cream. SPF has been a nightmare, but so far the Eucerin daily hydration cream SPF 30 is working OK, I have no problem applying enough because I'm so dry. It's just frustrating because neither company is cruelty free. They are just the only products that moisturize my face enough It's not painful all day.
Nooooo. Not the Chemistry Brand. I've got less than half a tube left. And less than half of the pink one too…and calm, think happy thoughts =/
can you make video on revox serums 🥺
🌸
My most used product is make prem safe me relief essence toner and a newer hg is paulas choice skin restoring moisturizer spf 50 and mad about skin cleanser.
Thanks for another great upload 👍 ❤️🌻
probably C-glow from G&G and LRP Cicabalm.
Good Molecules products: niacinamide toner, daily brightening serum, discoloration correcting serum, pineapple exfoliating powder, silicone free moisturizer.
The Ordinary ascorbic acid + alpha arbutin.
Cosrx ceramide mist, ceramide cream, panthenol cream.
A hand cream video would be nice.
I’d love a hand cream video!
Look at that glow you have going!!! Daaaamn! Hmm.. my long time favorites are probably LRP Effaclar foaming gel, toleraine fluid moisturizer and their cicaplast baum, Canmake's clear spf, Isntree green tea toner, Cosrx snail essence, Stratia liquid gold… hmmm.. and then there's this amazing line called Mad About Skin skincare…. 😉
Ohhh lovely 💕🌺, not sure I have single products I can’t live without but I can’t live without a handful in all the major categories. Thank you 😊
I think it’s still Skinfix Barrier+ Triple Lipid Peptide cream for me. It just feels so good on my skin, and my skin just looks plumper and smoother the longer I use it. I had to switch to something else for a while, and I’m so glad I was able to start using it again.
Hi, Rob as as a replacement for the chemistry hand cream check out Pyunkang Yul Skin Barrier Professional Hand Lotion
I need to try that Aesop body cleanser. I use the Aesop hand mist, which has been making the pandemic period so much more pleasurable instead of using horribly smelling hand sanitisers all the time. To use this and get that beautiful smell every time instead is such a treat.
I too love the subq skin and hope you can find a good replacement. My hands are probably my favourite part of me and I spend loads on different hand creams, I used to be a nail tech so hands on show. I tried the Tesco one you mentioned in a previous video and I am well impressed, especially at £1 ❤️
Yes please to the hand cream video!! Maybe just in time for Mother’s Day?
Hands down my favorite hand cream is Skinfix. I hate greasy hand cream. It absorbs quickly but moisturizes. Love, love it
Hi Rob the two (yes cheating, but couldn't decide which was around the longest in my routine) are the laneige cream skin refiner and the LRP toleraine hydrating cleanser. Both I've purchased multiple bottles of and have used them now for a few years. My skin type is the complete opposite to your own ie extremely dry, rosacea and eczema prone (hyper sensitive). There are few things that I repurchase over and over, as my skin tends to over time rebel against most things. These two have both stood the test of time for me and I always have them on hand.
Multi masking is not a new thing and is something that reappears off and on in skincare trends. I remember it being a thing even back to 15 or 20 years ago and it has come and gone in popularity a few times since. As with almost anything Tik Tok it is a new name for an old technique. It was much touted in magazines before social media and many facials were somewhere else this was fairly routinely done. Just a bit of skincare history lol. Best wishes.
Hand cream definitely Kamill Sensitive It’s the best Look at the INCI list and I’ve been buying CeraVe Moisturising Lotion in litres as it works wonders for my skin I am also taken by Cosrx Snail Mucin Essence Great hydration and moisture Worth every single penny I didn’t think I’d love it as much as I do Plumps Soothes Brightens Also re-purchased Iunik Tea Tree Relief Serum and my go to retinal products are from Avene…Not cruelty free brands nor vegan but their products work
I can't do without my Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour cream.
I love the chemistry brand hand cream. I also brought 6 bottles to stock up. Will definitely miss it!
Neutrogena Norwegian hand cream is incredible!!!
My favourites that I seem to keep buying are Rovectin cleanser and the skin activating lotion, Purito Oat in gel cream as it the only moisturiser I can seem to use in this heat, and of course MAS GYC serum 😘 Glad you’re feeling better x
That Isntree Green Tea toner is one of the best out here and the price is reasonable. Also I cannot live without my Kikumasamune Moisturizing Body Skin Lotion Toner. I tried to be without it and my skin missed it. I'll never not use this toner ever again
My favourite is Avene Tolerance Extreme Creme – I have used many moisturisers from high end to Cereve, the Avene Tolerance is probably the best for my skin. Dr V talks about it for skin of colour for dry skin and I bought it about 7 times. Love it ❤️ !
Love the videos it's always informative and easy to understand! My skin type is normal with thick psoriasis on my eyelids, nose, and forehead :'( I love to use the COSRX snail products, especially the moisturizer and the essence! Right now I'm trying Rovectin lotus cream as well as the isntree green tea toner and my skin is not reacting! Do you have some other recommendations for psoriasis skin???
Hi Rob.
I’m from the UK and live in Toronto, Canada. Love your videos.
My absolute favourite hand cream is the Chemistry Brand pro repair.
I first discovered this at Boots and they used to stock it in Shoppers Drug Mart here.
I am devastated that the chemistry brand is going from Deciem!
Last time I was in the store I asked them about it and the assistant told me that they are hoping that The Ordinary is going to come up with something similar so I’m hoping that they will!
For me, it's probably Stratia's Liquid Gold
Skincare love at first experience:
Mustela Sunlotion
LRP Rendermic R Cream
LRP Cicaplast Lavant foaming gel
Nature Republic Green Derma Mild Cream
Cerave cream
Missha Cicadin Sunmilk
Scinic Enjoy Safety Aqua Sun
Rob I agree the Hylamide SubQ and chemistry hand cream are holy grails and not replaceable! I can’t believe they’re discontinuing these brands. The Heel chemistry is seriously magic too.
Just ordered Aseop rose cleanser. Yes please to hand cream and can you do fake tan recommdations please?
The last year and half, I made very little changes. I did introduce new eye products but for now I am very happy with my current routines!
Yes to a hand cream video!
My holy grail is Stratia Liquid Gold.
which ingredients is good for skin and actually galactomyces or ginseng
has cosrx galactomyces worked for you and what it has done
💖💖💖
The best hand cream I've ever tried is from L'occitane. Also like the hand cream from Caudalie, but L'occitane is waaaaaay better
I got the hand cream as part of a deciem set a few years ago and I remember thinking that the cream felt amazing. What ingredient do you think makes it special? I bought a hand cream from Lidl and I feel like like the texture is similar. My hands feel so smooth afterwards.
