Hey Inner Beauties! It’s Aria and WELCOME to a new segment I call One Two Beauty Review – where we check out beauty and personal care products for one: product effectiveness and two: from a health perspective where it has LOW to NO toxins in it. Along with my What’s In it, Beauty analysis videos, I hope to help YOU, my fellow health conscious friend, embrace a healthier self, and connect, learn and discover together of what our safer, more natural alternative options are!
After discovering all the toxic chemicals in my EX-favorite soap, Philosophy’s Purity Made Simple One Step Facial Cleanser, I went on a hunt to find a safer, more natural alternative that works just as well, if not better, than the renown Purity.
Curious about what’s in Dr. Bronner’s 4-in-1 Sugar Lemongrass Lime Organic Pump Soap for Hands, Face, Body and Hair and how it performs against Philosophy’s Purity? Find out in this episode of One Two Beauty Review!

I cannot wait to try! Went to Amazon and could not decide on a scent, so I got the lemongrass, the lavender, unscented, and peppermint, not crazy about tee tree. Great video, and thanks for the shout out!!
gonna check this out! thank u!
I'll check it out. Thanks.
Hi Aria! WOW!! What Awesome videos you are making!! Thank you for doing that!! 😀 Oki, so I was about to buy Purity and I wanted to see some review videos first since I have not been using the brand before. Well, I decided NOT to go ahead and buy the Purity and now I am excited to go with Dr. Bronner's! I have been using their hard soap many years ago, but never the liquid one for the face and body. My skin is SUPER sensitive and for some time I have been breaking out. Not pimples but more stress and "using the wrong cleansing products" kinda breakouts…
My skin is also oily, not so wonderful, ekkkkkkk!! lol! My question to you is, can this formula from Dr.Brommer's irritate the skin and how does it work on oily skin and breakouts? We also have hard water so I am wondering if you know the PH of the organic Pump Soaps or approx? Thank You so much again for these videos, they are beyond GREAT! 😀 <3
I did some research, and I found that the Dr. Bronner's organic pump soap has a PH of 9 which is way too high for cleaning my face. Maybe it will feel great at first but in the long run it will age the skin sadly. Maybe its going to work for some but I must say that I will keep looking. I will use it for my hands and in the shower, but not for face and more sensitive PH body parts.
Great videos.
Hello Aria,
thanks for the tips! I have been looking for organic products and thankfully i found your channel.
Would you be so kind to tell us about Kiehl's Products such as the Midnight Recovery Oil and the Ultra Facial Cream?
Thank you very much!
Because of you I just got myself a bottle of the Peppermint scented Dr.Bronners Soap! I'm going to use it for morning facial cleansing, THANK YOU! I use the Ole Henriksen African Red Tea Cleanser at night! 🙂
Hi! 🙂 Sure thing. I have the Link here, and I have copied and pasted the message where the info can be found but it can also be found via the Link plus other great info about the products.

Hi Eugenia – Welcome to Dr. Bronner’s! Yes, you would still need
to use the Hair Rinse with the pump soaps. They would have the same
affect as the castile as for as pH goes. They need to be balanced with
something acidic. And yes, different essential oils definitely have
different reactions on the skin. Tea Tree and Peppermint are more
drying so are great options for people with oily skins or who get
sweaty. The Lavender, almond, citrus and others would be less drying.
Hi Amy – The pH of the pump soaps is around 9.0, which is a bit higher than the castile, which is 8.9.
All the best,
Lisa
Another Link that I have here for anyone who might be interested in PH and how it effects the skin is on Carolyn's Facial Fitness page. Good explaining and easy to read and understand for anyone.

I can mention that I have owned 2 skin care salons in Sweden before I moved to the US 10 years ago, so any questions you or anyone else might have, I will do my very best to help answer. I have struggled myself with skin issues, that is why I made the choice in my early 20's to make it my mission and work with it.
I still do, but I am also an artist so that is my profession these days having and building my handmade Jewelry Business.
So nice talking with you and talk soon again! 🙂
<3 Love and Light!

Oh, I just wanted to add another thing. If you are in Love with washing your face with soap or other products with a high PH. Then you can help your skin by using a Toner with the right PH or Low PH directly after and then apply a skin care product with lower PH.
My favorite thing to do is a Yogurt mask and let it sit on the skin for 30 min. It works wonders! Yogurt usually have a PH around 4.4 which calms down inflammation and acne pron skin… Plain yogurt will do. Just a tip. 🙂
Hello, is this product good for really dry skin? Thankyou!
can you do the fresh cleanser and the philosophy renewed in a jar cream !! and give us a dupe thanks :))))
I hope this could really clean make up~
can you please do a review for shea moisture products? they claim to be cruelty free and most seem to think it's close to green/organic. Thank you!!!
Hi Aria. Thx for the review Dr Bronners soap it's on its way to mine 🙂 could you please do a review for vichy normaderm anti age cream please or maybe even one two review to find anti agin moisturiser and anti perfection? Thanks love Ax
Can you do a first aid beauty face cleanser review?
I love the Dr Bronner peppermint 18-in 1 bottle I've only used it twice already and I'm honestly in love😍😍😍
Thank you. I use Dr Bronner's castile soap as a shower gel and I really feel safe with it. Was actually looking for something for face and hair as natural as the soap I'm already using for my body. I have oily skin and I'm afraid of acne though. On the other hand, I also have Endometriosis and I need to drasticly reduce chemical contamination if I want a better quality of life… Your channel seems very helpfull. I have an eye on Burt's Bee, they have a few products ( for mums and babies ) that are 100% natural ( they say). Have you tried any? How about deodorants?! I have tried a few natural ones in the past but they don't work as good as a very strong, 48h, chemically packed one – and that's what I find I need, a very, very effective one. Thanks and sorry I ask so many questions
do you have clarins product review?
Thank you i will DEFINITELY buy a couple of bottles of this
As much as I would like to be able to use an all natural alternative, every time I have tried Dr Bronner's products they have been extremely harsh and drying on my skin.
Why did you recommend a hydroquinone product although its low concentration ? Its one of most cleansing ingredients and not good to use in a long time. I'm pharmacist and i till choose Purity. Thank u and sorry for bad english
Does this come in plastic or glass?
But this soap has a ph level of 9, isn’t that bad for the skin?
I have a dry skin but I want to try this since it is natural. Could you please recommend a good natural toner with moisturizer for dry skin? Thank you so much!
What do you think about Wen cleansing conditioner?
Hello Arian, Thank you for the video. You say to be careful not to get Dr Bonners in your eyes because it will burn. I use Purity mainly for removing my waterproof mascara and also wash my face. How could I switch to Dr Bonners if I need another product to remove mascara? One step is so much easier.
hi! are you still using this product? my mom complains that soap products cause wrinkles ):
Is this product vegan?
