Oh i have been in Love with Jo Malone English pear and Freesia and Myrrh and Tonka beans since forever, and My Burberry black for evening soiree…. So recognisable yet classy!!!! But as far as Scent memory goes… It has to be Chanel no 5! My grandma used to wear it and as did my Mum! So ofcourse I used to wear it even as a child when they would spray a bit in the air and ask me to walk through it! My own bottles adorn my dressing table and bathroom shelves and its like having them with me!! This video was so amazing and i thank you for sparking my desire to visit my perfume collection…. Often times we just stick to one or two at a time… But keep collecting them depending on the mood…. 💕
My latest buy was the Tom Ford Black orchid … Wow it's a definitive scent! So amazing!

I have only been able to afford buying perfumes when I started working and the first one I bought and 'splurge' was Marry Me by Lanvin and I'm absolutely in love with it! Like you, I'm drawn to fruity floral scents! I hope you'd be able to try Kim Kardashian's Fleur Fatale because it smells to like roses + fresh linens. It was gifted to me by my uncle who currently lives in Australia. 🙂

Daisy was the first fragrance I bought as a teenager! I saved up for it and drooled over the campaigns whilst I waited. I still have the bottle ❤🌼
Ugh, I want a seductive perfume with amber, aldehydes, maybe a little citrus, since the Victoria's Secret forever sexy was discontinued I have not found a similar one.
Love this! My current fave is by Rosie Jane’s Rosie. I just upgraded from the baby sample to the travel spray bottle and I will say that the Sephora app comments are right, they are not the same scent! The trial size is more musky and powdery and the bigger size is decidedly more floral and brighter. I never thought I’d like a rose centered scent but Rosie was my favorite from the sampler and hey maybe Matilda is on to something here!
it's sort of funny that you wore marc jacob's 'daisy' when you were in your late teens, because i'm turning 18 soon and it's my go to fragrance too!
If you like light floral I think Versace Bright Crystal might be up your alley! It's a fresh floral scent that last ages on me

I don’t know if they sell it anymore, but the Stella McCartney perfumes had nice rose notes. Not too flowery, just cool and chic. I saw it described as an icy rose once

I got a sample of red roses and I wanted it to be my forever scent but it triggers an intensely powerful migraine. I like the scent so much I tried 3 times lol . same migraine every time. Down for the count for 2 days. Sad

You should try Guerlain Rosa Rossa. I'm a massive fan of distinct flower scents and this one's a great deep rose for winter. Guerlain Rosa Pop was my all time favorite but they stopped making it a few years back :*(
My favourite parfum at the moment has to bo the Moschino one which is in a bottle that looks like a window cleaning spray. The liquid is this bright blue but the scent is bothing like that at all: It‘s a rich mature scent but with a light citrusy undertone so it makes me personally feel feminine and strong…I don‘t know if this also was a trend in other countrys but herr in switzerland it was a must have!

Hey Matilda, I love rose scented everything, and love Jo Malone red roses too! (despite having other two rose fragrances: Penhaligon’s Elizabethan Rose If I want some umph, Diptyque Rose after shower, and recently I’m getting my hands on Rose Morning by Fresh. I bought it online so I wish I would enjoy it!)

Just bought Jo Malone’s Red Roses because of this video. The smell of rose is prominent but not too overpowering. I would say it’s the true rose smell and I love it 😍. We shared the same preference: rose-scented perfume. The other day I spritzed my favourite – Dyptique’s Eau Rose and someone complimented the smell too 💕.

I love that perfume can remind you of people, places, times, and events in your life. Scent is such a trigger for memory that I've often recommended it as a study hack for students. I encourage them to assign a scent to each subject and have that scent present when they're studying… usually an EO on a tissue or the scent of whatever they're drinking. For me, apples and math is intrinsically linked and literature and chocolate.
I actually change up my scent by the season usually. My favorite spring/summer scent is Maison Margiela's Replica Beachwalk with notes of Bergamot, Pink Pepper, Lemon, Ylang Ylang, Coconut Milk, Cedar, Musk, and others. I definitely pick up on all the notes but the bergamot, ylang ylang, hint of coconut and the warm cedar stand out to me. It's a scent profile I never thought I'd enjoy because I don't think of myself as a floral or fruity perfume kind of gal, but it might truly be one of my all time favorites. Bergamot actually seems to be a common thread through many of my favorites and if not bergamot, its lemon, yuzu, or grapefruit but always paired with a floral, berry, or both.
Since you love rose scents, you might like Nest's Turkish Rose. It's a perfume oil with key notes of Turkish rose, black plum, and light woods. It's actually one of the best smelling rose perfumes I've had the pleasure of enjoying… but to be fair, I haven't had the opportunity to enjoy Jo Malone's rose perfume. My Burberry Blush is another perfume I enjoy that has rose notes paired with lemon, apple, and other florals that makes it both refreshing and complex.

Never tried the Jo Malone Red Roses range, the scent seems interesting. I love floral scents. I'm currently obsessed with Jo Malone's British Pear and Freesia Eau de Cologne. I tried out the smaller size and my life has changed ever since. I want a 100 ml bottle next!
I'm currently using diptyque philosykos in the solid form! I find that it doesn't throw the scent as far as the spray, and I get to enjoy the scent, but it isn't as pronounced as the spray. I had never had complaints in the office while wearing scents, but I do my best to be respectful that there may be allergies or fragrance sensitivities 🙂
I’m a byredo fan and the best thing is that I share most of the scents with my boyfriend 😊 Couldn’t choose a favourite out of Bal d’Afrique, slow dance, eleventh hour and mixed emotions. A couple of other faves are tiger by her side by sana jardin and portrait of a lady by Frederic malle when I want something intense! Xx

My signature is jo malone's blackberry and bay. Starts bright and fresh, fades to a sweet, clean, feminine floral on me. I also got it for my friend and it smells more masculine on her, as it pulls more woodsy on her skin. Fragrance can be SO interesting.

ive recently got into perfume over covid era, ive had so much fun sampling scents and figuring out what I like. I finally fell in love with my signature scent which is Guerlain la petite robe noire intense. Its a blueberry focused scent and its so beautifully done, doesn't smell cheap or too young at all despite it being focused on a berry note. It really resonates with me because my family and I used to go picking blueberries and strawberries at this fruit farm when i was a kid, and it brings me back to that time, i associate it with those fond memories

My favorite perfume is probably Christian Dior J'adore Eau de parfum. Such a classic. I also love Estee Lauder pleasures. Givenchy Very Irresistible is also a favorite. I love floral scents. I tried the Jo Malone Red Roses perfume but didn't care for it personally. I don't like the odor after you have sprayed it. It smelled good from the bottle but afterwards on my skin I didn't like the scent. In terms of florals, I like the way Blooming bouquet smells from Christian Dior, Miss Dior.

My beloved perfumes are Piano Santal by L'Orchestre Parfum, a beautiful lactic sandalwood. Oh là là by Teo Cabanel a Hazelnul sandalwood (Yes, I love sandal wood!) and Naxos from Xerjoff, a very very strong Honey tobaco! I also love Parisian musc by Matière première and I think that maybe you could love this one! ♥

We have a few overlaps! I had the DKNY apple perfume growing up and my best friend wore Daisy! Some teenage and early 20s favorites of mine also include: Dolce & Gabana Light Blue, Chanel Chance (and later Mademoiselle), Stella by Stella McCartney, and Vera Wang Princess (the bottle was epic!).
Now my scent taste has changed. I really like Tokyo Gaiac by Le Labo. I keep Coriander by D. S. and Durga and Gypsy Rose by Byredo in my rotation, too!

loved this video! I visited Jo Malone last year and tried to swatch every single scent they had lol I ended up getting Mimosa and Cardamom. also, they released a limited edition of their poppy scents and I picked up the Yellow Hibiscus, which is a sweet flowery scent that I normally don't gravitate towards, but for some reason I loved sniffing that one! I think my taste in scent is quite the opposite to yours, I don't really like roses, but I do love hibiscus and maybe neroli when it comes to florals!
I wasn’t sure I was in to florals but I got Un Jardin Sur La Lagune by Hermès and I love it, i also have blueberry and bay from jo malone, and I’m planning on getting my hands on myrrh and tonka from jo malone and maybe angel by mugler!
I love rose too. I haven't tried many but I love Le Labo Rose 31. Many perfumes give me a bit of a headache but this one is lovely!
