I really like your make-up in this video! Skincare routine?
I love that oil…i just get the refill at Loccitane store and it is way cheaper….
I never used this brand before but I guess I wouldn't buy their stuff because they are so expensive.
I was so, so, so into this product and so determined to buy it, have it, use it!
But!
Walking around in local drugstore I found dupe/alternative to this fella- and it's from Balea (German drugstore brand). Using it at the moment, it's amazing to the skin. I apply it directly on wet skin and it gets all milky and funny, but definitely does the work 🙂 Skin is not dry or funny, it's amazing. And the best part is- it costs only 1€!
If you ever get the opportunity to be somewhere in Germany, Austria, Croatia, I definitely recommend it :*
Oh wow, i was so not expecting this to not give enough moisture and to give the need to use another oil or cream after the shower 😥 Good thing I managed to stay away from it
Thank you for the review :*
You look gorgeous, btw ^_^
Just got a sample of this today at Sephora.with my rewards points. I used it today and immediately began hunting for reviews on YouTube cause I felt like I had to use so much and thought maybe I I was using it wrong. Glad to know I'm not crazy 🙂
I LOVE this stuff. I like the smell, like that it does not lather a lot (Wen girl here) I also love the Divine Youth Oil. Sorry you didn`t like it. As with all soaps, I still use a butter body afterwards. I love that it gives me some moisture, does not dry out my skin, and I do not feel sticky or oily after using it. My 2 cents
You remind me of Mia Wasikowska
To me it smells like Playdoh! Not the most moisturizing shower wash I have used
Thanks for the review. I was going to buy it, but not anymore😟. My skin is super dry in the summer not to mention the nightmare now in winter. I need a really good oil, have you found a better brand?
sorry!! it's really nice, i am using it for almost two years now, the full almond collection, shower oil, scrub and body oil. i received a free almond hand cream which is excellent and smells WOW.
You said Loccitane right! yay lol I work there and most people (even die hard customers) say it wrong😂
i used this shower oil. i disagree with some of your review of this product. i already used an half of the bottle it leaves my skin delicious scent, delicate , firm ,and also reduce my stretch marks. and i really love it.
I get what you're saying — My opinion is that you are using way too much of it. I had a little sample size of it and I totally loved it. But I never used it on a shower pouf like I would a regular body wash, for the same reasons you didn't like it. It takes a whole lot of it to work into a lather and it's too expensive to use that way. I'm guessing that using that much would also be a reason for the scent to be way too intense. I used it just in my hand, worked my hands together a bit and spread it directly on my skin. That way it lasted a long time, the scent was just right (for me) and I didn't feel like I was pouring lots of oil down the drain. I just used it up, by the way, which is why I came looking for reviews. So thanks for your review!!
Oh I just love this product, unlike you I have had absolutely no issues with it, my skin is moisturised, clean, firmer and a little goes a long long way, I just love the smell.
I guess I completely did not understand how to use this product. I received a gift pack with several items in it. I took a bubble bath with Lavendar bubble bath and applied the shower oil on my skin afterwards when I was drying. I feel wonderfully smooth. Not sure how to use this but topically after a shower feels great and smells great.
Apply it to dry skin, massage it as a dry oil onto your body then jump into the shower and rinse off. I feel supple and non-stripped. You lose a lot of product if you use it in the shower on a loofah. However, if the scent is too strong you might as well just pass on it.
I love the way my skin feels after the shower and I love the smell.
I scrub my body first with a Japanese scrubbing towel with regular body wash. Then my body is very clean and ready to absorb the shower oil. I work a small amount in my hands and rub it all over the top half of my body and a little more for the butt and legs. I leave it on for a couple minutes while finishing up my shower regimen, then rinse. I also use it for shaving. My skin feels significantly smoother and looks healthier than when I was using body soap alone. I use a small amount so it smells great and is never overwhelming. The 250ml bottle lasts me five months. That's the same amount of money I'd spend using Caress body wash for five months.
I have to agree with you on most of this, i have the entire loccitane almond line and the shower oil is tje only thing i wont buy again. I didnt really feel like it cleansed me and it didnt moisturise me enough to justify the price. I did use the entire bottle but i wound up only using it as a shaving oil on my legs. I LOVE the smell and i had such high hope for this.
It aggravates my dry skin. IMO, this product is more suited for those with normal skin. I don't like the smell too.
So disagree as this is an amasing shower oil, smells divine and does not dry out skin at all. The best! Love it😍
I thought it was just me!!!
Not sure I agree with the overall critique. There is a lovely scent once the oil lathers but not necessarily a strong almond scent. It's important to use a small amount once you exfoliate before using the shower oil. I was pleasantly surprised with the way my skin felt afterwards. The only 'nay' is the premium price but like many high end products, you choose & use sparingly. I didn't feel that much was wasted or went down the drain and given that I am not as tall, I am able to amortize the cost :). I'd give this product a thumbs up!
