  1. For me and my 4c hair I just need soft filtered water, shea butter and aloe Vera juice or gel and maybe occasionally almond oil and I’m good. If I use a mask it’s an avocado mask. And don’t have to put this on my hair all the time which is great because my hair is dry easily being high porosity.

  2. I’ve turned natural a few years ago and I still don’t know how to do my hair I just wear braids all the time and I have such good hair but idk how to do it

  3. Can you recomened any shampoos and moisturizers for my hair its really damaged due to my hair being relaxed several times its been a few months and it looks worser than before and ot shrank alot

  4. Anything with laurel suflate is poison! Please check the ingredients! Long term damage, aka cancer, hormone disruptions, fibroids, and many morehas been linked to those companies you mentioned.

  5. I love this video. I decided this month to scale my products down, especially since I've embraced my grey hair. The Jojoba Oil and C.R. will definitely be my style staples, and I have my fravorite moisturizing conditioner in Texture ID products that I will keep. Just need to find a moisturizing shampoo and a deep conditioner that I like for my type 4 grey hair❤. Next year, I want to have the products I will stick with. Thanks for the post. God's blessings to you.

  6. Oh yea. TGIN deep mask is it. It’s so solid. Everything about it is great. Too thicke 4c is also good, but no need to pay $25 bucks

  7. I agree with the “less is more” concept. Especially with the diy concoctions. My Lord… it’s enough to cause anxiety, which will make one’s hair fall out. Going back to what worked, try to be consistent with a simple routine. Your hair is lovely.

  8. Thank you so much for this video. I stopped watching natural hair videos for many years due to feeling overwhelmed by the many products and steps. I truly appreciate this video🤗

  9. Another viewer here appreciating you getting to the point and not talking for 15 minutes. Thank you lol

  10. I don't buy all of that stuff… I've been getting by all of this time… My hair is healthy… It will be long if I want my hair to be… I will cut all of my hair off if I want a certain style…

  11. Facts I was a product junky buying all black owned products and I simplified as well. Shea moisture shampoo and conditioner and shea butter as a moisturizer and my hair has grown crazy. Nice video.

  12. Just get a wig and throw all your hair products away. Save tons of money and a days of trying to straighten out that rats nest!

  13. This has always been me and I’ve always been the one with the most healthy and lengthy hair in my family/friend group

  14. VO5 shampoo slash conditioner in One…. Magic Hair Grease, Olive oil Rosemary twigs… Period i have lox almost waist length… I tried all the other crap after I Rinsed it out😮😢🤔🌑🌚 HAIR was still nappy kinky😅😂😂NO Difference, same nappy kinky ngr HAIR lmao 😂🤣😂😅😂😂🎉

  15. im have very straight heir but this came up on my recommended and i love to know about all hair types—

but im glad you said that you dont have to use products all from one line, women of all walks of life believe they have to stick with one brand of everything when in reality, brands just say that so youll only buy from them!! it’s totally okay to mix and match your products to find what works for you!!

    interesting video! 🙂

  16. Now that I'm trying to change my regimen, the number of products will be increasing. My regimen rotates my products, so any additional products will just fall into the rotation. Just counting the products, I have plus the ones I want to add, it comes to 12 products. My shampoo regimen only uses 7 products. Any changes are for the midweek use.

  17. Thank you for this information, I look after my elderly friend I need products to keep her hair beautiful

  18. Everyone should know from a basic chemistry course that all haur textures are different and on different human bodies some people may be allergic, heat sensitive, water sensitive, alcohol drying etc. All of these products that influencers twll people not to buy just because they say "i got 4c hair DOESNT mean its gonna work for your 4c or mixed/blended hair. Every also doesnt just have 1 hair texture i have a combination of 3 when i let my hair grow out.
Id say find what works and feels right on your head. And when i mean "feel right" i mean qualitative data. Does it work well enough that your scalp tingles in the right way? But Is it itchy? Does it burn? Give you rash? Cause bleeding? Acne? Dont use em and pay attention to what is the common denominator behind those "bad" shampoos and conditioners. The same ingredient might be present in all of them so its really not the brand but that particular ingredient that damages your hair and injure your scalp.

  19. Free form dreads…. Shampoo, castor oil every 3 days…my hair is great lol, love it..thanks for the video

  20. You’re the first black hair YouTuber that I can actually sit and listen through a whole video, other YouTubers just ramble on about irrelevant stuff and get to the main topic like 10mins in it’s so annoying! 🙄
    Less really is more.
Thanks for emphasizing that you don’t need a thousand different products to achieve your hair goals! ❤❤❤

  21. My postpartum self is thanking you 😢!! Knowing that you do not have to have a holy grail list of products is a weight of my shoulders!!

    Virtual hug to you 🤗!!
