  1. You've got a pretty good set up! I live that there are many different ways to do things, thanks foraharing your set up!

  2. We used to butcher but I wouldn't kill them but I used to pluck them by hand but I only got about ten done in a day…

  3. Nice set up! I imagine it made everything run smoother on butchering day! 🙃

  4. You guys have the best intro, I have to admit, I skip most, but yours is so full of Love and Gods Glory I just can't skip it. We made it to KY and are now homestead shopping from our 1-acre rental, we will garden here and I'm trying to get the landlord to allow chickens, so I love this video. Thank you for all your hard work with the videos you guys put out. I love them so much. God Bless and stay warm in the cold snaps coming.

  5. Looking forward to the next one! Is that weird? Lol! 🤣 Starting meatbirds(and butchering) for the first time this spring. Thanks for the info. 😁

  6. I dont know if i could do it… cleaning the bird yes… i clean fish, but killing it no… lets see when the time comes… thats food..

  7. We did our first (9) meat chickens this past fall. Fun experience that we plan on doing it again. Best chicken I’ve ever eaten. I need to get a plucker… we plucked by hand and I won’t do that again if I’m doing 30-40 like I want to

  8. I keep trying to get my mom to do meat chicken but she is not a big fan of chicken. But one day I will have land to do so but for now I’m going to make a small coop cause I can have 4 hens in town
