Sounds like we have similar hair types, though I don't consider mine oily. The worst it gets is I need to wash it every other day in the summer. Winter is awesome because I can go up to four days before it feels like it needs to be washed again. I've been trying dry shampoo, because I have friends that rave about it, but I'm not really a huge fan so far. It suffices for about a day, but my friends use it for days and days… Maybe it's my thin hair, haha.
You said "roses" and I was like !!!!!!! u knooooo
I'll keep the treatment in mind especially because I always have trouble finding a good hair treatment/conditioner, since I also usually use a "treatment" in place of normal conditioner haha
Everyone ever has gotten their straightening iron from folica XD
Songes Annick Goutal for women is meant to smell like your oil 🙂
when you got the moroccan oil i was soooo ridicously happy 😀 lots of love from morocco <3 <3
I have very fine hair also, but it's very dry. Bleaching and colouring doesn't help! xD
I've never tried oil in my hair – it doesn't make it look greasy? huh
Thanks for all the info! 🙂 My hair needs some serious TLC (and I'm about to bleach and dye it again, lol. Poor hair)
I LOVE MAROCCAN OIL!!!!!! I have realy thick aisan hair so i use the normal version.we had this in our shop in germany too so i know what im talking about! The smell is think marokkanisches weihrauch what means maroccan olibanum or somethinh like that. Its realy good for
your hair and even if ur hair is not damaged everyone can use it i put it even sometimes on the scalp in the winter for moisture just a little bit but thats only me;) this brand has also shampoo and i think a treatment too 😉 have a happy hair day <3
btw sharla i love all ur videos!!!!!
I like your new jacket~ ^^
Are there any brands from Japan that say they are against animal testing on it?
Do you use a regular terry cloth towel or a microfiber one? I've been hearing that towel drying can break the hair. I got some microfiber drying mitts, they are pretty nice. And if I don't fluff at my hair it's a lot less tangly! I also take biotin and horsetail (vegetal silica), they have made my hair grow long and strong!
I did see the shampoo on Amazon, standard salon price, about $35USD for the shampoo.
Ahhhh I can't stand the smell of Moroccan oil anymore. Jojoba oil works much better on my hair, plus it's more natural and doesn't cost a fortune.
The New Year's shirt! Looks good, :).
Are there any non-Japanese products that work well for your hair type~
I have the same hair type as you and mines kinda frizzy/damaged recently but it's difficult for me to get the Japanese products~
Thank you
Ah thank god! I used to use the Moroccan oil thing in Europe but since I came to Japan I never saw it in stores, but at least it exists! (It's way more expensive here in Japan though, which sucks but whatever)
Sharla! You shouldn't use masks that often, as in the long term it can cause dry hair and breakage due to overload of protein. Masks should be used twice a week and normal conditioner the other days. Moroccan Oil is okay to use when you want. (Used to be a professional hair dresser, so that advice is for strong brands such as kerastase, redken etc.)
Let me know if anyone has any contradicting advice though! Love your Joyrich hoodie! <3
Your so pretty :3 x
your hair looks amazing in this video
これのヘアミルク使ってます!超いいですよね。
Sharla, for healthy hair just replace some of your processed paleo meals with lots of fruits and some vegetables;) You'll soon see the results. Good luck 🙂
just a little bit of information about moroccan oil. it does contain silicone which just layers on top of the hair and can tend to build up on the hair without actually penetrating or benefiting the hair. albeit it does smell amazing. but if you're interested in very moisturizing oil mostly for your ends you should get some pure argan oil instead. I started using it instead of the moroccan oil (which i did use for a short time) and i really love it it makes your hair so soft! and for an all over moisturizer to smooth the broken or damaged ends and flyaways that is also great for scalp health, coconut oil does wonders <3
I have the same hair straightener but in White and it is vary good ..and moroccan oil. I work at a hair salon so I get good stuff for my hair .. When you get you're hair trimmed I suggest you get anti-snap and use that when your hair is damp . And it smells so gooood 😀
You should try to wash your hair more like 3-4 times a week at the most. Washing it every day is drying and damaging. Also washing it every day strips your hair of oils so your body will overcompensate which is why you have problems with oily hair. You do have pretty hair though….I"m also jealous that you live in Japan! I love Japan! 😀
あ、福袋の服着てますね!!
I wish I could air dry my hair :c my hair isn't straight or curly. It's wavy-ish and frizzy as hell and suppppperr kinked out. S: Like, each hair looks like a zig-zag…And it's super long and down to my butt so if I use no heat I look like a frizzy caveman :c
I love your hair, it's so silky naturally ;o;
Wow! I didn't know that our moroccan oil can be foud in japan!! It's actually called in moroccan Argan 🙂
I have hair like your and I love OGX's Biotin&Collagen shampoo. It's the only shampoo I can find that gives me volume and it has a great smell too. Not to mention it's under $6 a bottle.
Another thing I'm going to buy when I go to Japan!! Thanks!
I love your hair colour. I've asked this before in other videos but no one or Sharla herself has responded, but what hair colouring do you use? Or what shade do you use?
Hey Sharla, so is your hair naturally curly?? I am a curly head and would LOVE to see your curls! why don't you wear it out curly ( if you actually have curly hair) ? Curls rock!
xoxo
thank you for using and recommending our product, LebeL. We also making and selling beauty chairs and shampoo basin which you might be sitting in the beauty salon you like. これからも興味深くて、日本人でも勉強になる面白い動画をアップしてください。
Thanks for the video! The main problem I have with shampoos in Japan is that none of them are suitable for greasy hair! I have light fine and greasy hair, and it looks really crappy by the end of the day in all this humidity. Have you noticed anything similar?
Did you buy that shampoor at that Merry Hair Salon? I'm going there this Saturday to the same hairstylist you went to but I'm super nervous because it's my first time at the hair salon here in Japan.
You wash your hair 5 times a week?! I only do 2 times because it strips it on its natural oils.
I used to work in the Fragrance dept at a department store and L'acquarossa by Fendi smells like roses and is really nice (great Winter scent, too, because it has some sandalwood in it or some kind of wood). 😀 Anyway that's not what I meant to comment about..I was going to say that I have really fine, thin hair, too, and I want to check that shampoo and deep treatment out if I see it in the salons here in Okinawa. I use Applino shampoo and Moist, Diane argan oil hair treatment right now and I really love both of them. I bought a bunch of those small sample packets of shampoos and conditioners at Donki and ended up loving Applino for the smell and how soft it made my hair and Moist, Diane for the ridiculous name and, mostly, for how it moisturized my hair and smoothed out the frizzy/flyaway bits. 😀
I don't know if anyone has suggested it, but rose water is pretty cheap and is essentially rose perfume.
I use tea tree shampoo if I wanna splurge on my shampoo otherwise my usual brand is pert plus original
