Today’s video is a bit different, I (Carli) was struggling with a common skin condition Perioral Dermatitis from July through the end of September. I did a lot of research and worked with my dermatologist to treat and get rid of it (for now). I felt very hopeless while I had this rash just appear on my face and it took a lot to get rid of it. I figure I’d share all the tips and tricks that worked for me and even some things that I read while doing my research that I didn’t try but they worked for others. This condition is known to come back but I feel prepared for a flare up now if I have one!
xx Carli

  1. One more thing I forgot to mention in the video (it was hard to remember everything for this one!). By the time I was ready to start taking the antibiotics the derm prescribed me, my PD had cleared up about 90% so I was considering not starting them (I think in big part due to the starred products above) but then two days later it got worse instead of getting better and that's when I started the antibiotics. If you don't or can't go the antibiotics route, I hope the products starred above can help you because they helped me get my skin in a good place even if the antibiotics ensured it wouldn't come back for a while.

  2. i wonder how your skin is doing now after a year of wearing masks! i got PD out of nowhere, i think because of the mask, and this video was immensely helpful and reassuring. thanks for this informative story about your personal experience

  3. I came across your channel looking for a skin care after almost a full recovery of POD. My dermatologist has been great with treating my condition. He proscribed me 50 mg of Doxy 2 times a day, and also oral ivermectin. Which worked absolutely miracles, and so did the ivermectin Topical aka (saloontra oral & topical). Avene was the worst thing I put on my skin, and I wouldn’t recommend to anyone! Although everyone’s skin is different.

  4. I just got a rash by my mouth never had this before. It doesn't itch or hurt, thinking its the mask but I ordered the Avene face cream and will try the no products for a while, thank you for explaining for us.

  5. I instantaneously tried out this eczema plan, Kamlo Nozion Weebly, (please do Go ogle) for about a month, extremely, the illness never appear for some time.

  6. In the past 2 winters, I had this eczema on my hands as a result of skin outbreak. Because of that I was able to figure out about this eczema plan, Kamlo Nozion Weebly, (surely Go ogle). Dry skin, irritation and also redness were felt around my palms. I wasn`t out of the inconvenience of covering my hands.

  7. Hi Carli. It's 3/2021 and I just caught your video. Mine is horrible. It absolutely consumes me. Thank you so much for coming on and giving us some options.

  8. Just under my eye I spotted an itchiness has started off. I afterwards learned that I had been experiencing eyelid eczema. But thanks a lot to eczema guide, I could alleviate the trouble in only one day of following the plan, Kamlo Nozion Weebly, (please do Go ogle). In barely Two weeks of regularly making use of the plan, I am certain that it’s entirely faded with no possibility of coming back.

  9. for me the cause was creamy camambert cheese that was the initial trigger, now any type of cheese makes it flare up. i am on antibiotics and putting nothing on my skin as it all stings

  10. This particular eczema guideline, Kamlo Nozion Weebly, (surely Go ogle) is totally fantastic, it cured my eczema on my hands in Only two days. It is been a couple of months since I obtained this diseases, and I could confess this plan is far better compared to prescripted steroid products which I have got tried out.

  11. I had been suffering from an irritating break outs below my eyes. Later on to learn that it is currently an eyelid eczema. I recognized the it has a bit reduced in the morning quickly after trying this specific eczema guide, Kamlo Nozion Weebly, (surely Go ogle). Within 2 weeks of continually applying the plan, I`m certain that it’s completely eliminated with zero possibility of coming back.

  12. You’ve got lucky with your dermatologist – it’s Right what he says

  13. I rlly hope this works. I’ve had mine since I was in 2nd grade and now I’m in 6th grade almost 7th. The thing makes me a little sad and and sometimes I get bullied about it.

  14. I have pd since 2 months i visited a dermatologist for a week i feel as if it is covered but after that it was as if it is increasing with the lotions prescribed am so depressed about it coz am 19 years old and think as if it will never heal😑 i tried aloe vera as well but no improvemnt rather it got worsed

  15. im going to tell you what worked for me after trying everything , i thought to myself when i used revlon age defying makeup l noticed it took care of any scapes on my face so i tried it on my swollin lips and after a little tingling it worked in no time, please try it worked for me lol

  16. i’m 13, about to be 14 in a month and i’ve had perioral dermatitis for about 3 years and i’ve tried everything. i’m gonna keep you guys updated to see if it works for me.

  17. Reassuring to know so many of us have this. But also frustrating how Drs seem to know nothing about this condition.

  18. If your dr prescribes doxy, it says avoid calcium, and I can’t go 6 weeks not having cheese. 😂 Next option for antibiotics is she prescribed a z pack for Monday, Wednesday and Friday’s for 6 weeks. I also avoided foundation during this time, the gel antibiotic didn’t work much for me. Eventually, oral antibiotics is what cleared it up.

  19. I get PD only when I’m pregnant… heals on its own after birth but this pregnancy it just got sooo bad and I’m only 2 months in😬

  20. try using raw apple cider vinegar with the mother . dilute with clean water in a little container and shake the bottle use a q tip or cotton ball soaked and apply on the PD and it will go away less then 4 days mine cleared up quick after using this its natural and effective ! and also affordable if u can't see or afford a dermatologist . and switch to fluoride free toothpaste !!! hope this helps ! also organic Indian NEEM pills are great for the skin and also help PD and just clearing up the skin in general u can find it on amazon. I always keep a little bottle of ACV mixed with WATER on my stand for whenever I get a flare up and it clears up my PD in less than a week its quick and effective ! also start with a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar dilute with water in a small clear travel container from Walmart or target and boom ! I also use this as my toner sometimes every morning to help with acne.

  21. 🤗🥰How often did you take the neem? And how many capsules did you take a day? And did you continue taking zinc and neem while taking antibiotics?

  22. During the past 2 winters, I acquired this eczema in the fingers due to the outbreak. As a result of that I managed to know about this eczema manual, Kamlo Nozion Weebly, (surely Go ogle). My hands and fingers had been red-colored, itchy, dry. I wasn`t out of the inconvenience of covering my palms.

  23. To anyone struggling. Triclosan is a chemical which is known to cause dermatitis and is contained in Colgate toothpaste.

  24. This is the best video I've seen on the subject. You're the only one that hasn't said just go to the dermatologist like I did. I really appreciate you giving alternatives even though I plan on going to a doctor anyway because this is a nightmare lol

  25. You were so informative! Thank you so so much for all of your recommendations! I've noticed I started to break out when I'm stressed and hormones are all sorts out of whack. We have a 1 and a half year old and an almost 2 month old so I've been a little stressed lol. Thank you so much again for this!!!

  26. Thank you for posting this!! I had PD years ago and eventually took oral abx. It just came back (I think because I’m in nursing school and wearing a sweaty mask for 13 hours at a time) and I’d like to try to get rid of it without abx but we’ll see. Definitely going to try what you recommended!!

  27. So what I’m using and got me better is : cicaplast B5 la Roche po say
    Tacrolimus 0,1%
    Sesderma Azelac

  28. Thanks for sharing your journey with PD gonna try all what you recommend and see I hope it works 🙏🏼 I just want to ask have you tried applying Avene cream on the outer parts of your lips? Because I just realized that it is irritating around and in the outer parts of my lips and because of that I stopped using my facial lotion around my lips. THANKS 😊

  29. thats insane to pay over 400$ for a cream!! !in slovakia i got it for free.. i am so thankful for the european healthcare system..

  30. it's so weird because I'm using that exact same face cream from avene because I read that it helps with PD but then I watched another video and this dermatologist said occlusive creams aren't good for PD and that cream from avene is occlusive so I don't even know anymore 😭

  31. Hi, thank you for this video, i can't find the name of the nose cream… could you help me please. Thank you.

  32. I feel I need to shout this from the rooftops so I might be of help to you all. Please don't give up hope and try everything and look at natural creams and lotions and maybe even make changes to your diet if the doctor hasn't helped and you feel a bit lost. I battled with perioralis dermatitis for years and was caking on makeup like it was going out of fashion to hide it which was making it worse! I must have tried dozens of creams and treatments. Maybe I just got lucky but I found the proskin eczema cream. It is natural by mama naturals and it smells lovely. I also use a sensitive milk cleanser by neals yard. I've also heard great things about sea buckthorne. The mama naturals cream is quite a thick cream which put me off initially because I have used creams like this before and they never worked but I used about a quarter of a pot over a two week span and my perioralis cleared away almost completely. I still can't believe it. I still get slight pinkness when I have been out in the cold and then come indoors but this soon fades when I use the cream and it only happens now and again. I don't know why this happens. It is on the expensive side so I wish they would reduce the price. Please don't give up hope and be open to natural creams and lotions.

  33. Definitely gunna try the toothepaste , wash my face with a hypoallergenic face wash and not use any type of skin care till this crap dries out .. I saw another video where she said that putting the ordinary hyleronic acid serum worked too so ima try that ! I’ve had PD for a week or more now and I’m sick of it 😔

  34. If only my dermatologist had explained it to me for longer than 2 minutes. I've been very depressed trying to self- medicate. Right now I'm trying the butt paste. The doxycycline I took for two weeks and helped a lot but then when I stopped it came back. I used tretinoin on my skin leading up to PD. I was on accutane for 6 months last year. That's why I used the tretinoin……..
