Wearing sunscreen is important for a variety of reasons ‼️

The primary reason is to protect your skin from the harmful effects of the sun’s ultraviolet (UV) rays, which can cause sunburn, premature ageing, and even skin cancer.

When you’re out in the sun, your skin is exposed to two types of UV rays: UVA and UVB. UVA rays penetrate deep into the skin and can cause premature ageing, while UVB rays primarily affect the surface of the skin and can cause sunburn. Both types of UV rays can contribute to the development of skin cancer over time.

To protect your skin from these harmful effects, it’s important to wear sunscreen every day, even on cloudy days. Sunscreen with a high SPF (Sun Protection Factor) of 30 or higher can help block both UVA and UVB rays.

The one seen above is the Advanced Brightening UV Defense SPF 50 from @skinceuticals

✅ Suitable for all skin types
✅ Reduce the appearance of discolouration and age spots

These are the areas of the body that are most exposed to the sun, and therefore most vulnerable to the damaging effects of UV rays. Be sure to apply sunscreen liberally, and reapply it every two hours, or more often if you’re sweating or swimming.

  1. But I have listened than our body adjust according to the atmosphere so why can't our body adjust to protect us from UV rays itself??

  2. My scalp would get blistered so I started getting spray sunscreen to spray on the part, it was down the middle line this lady here. If I was going swimming I would care if it looked really greasy I would cost my scalp in that stuff but the lotion kind the spray says it's water proof but it washes off to easily and too early said it would last up to 2 hours but it didn't last at all in the pool or the ocean, my only guess is that the chlorine breaks it down because when I was in the ocean it lasted for about an hour and a half so now if I go swimming I use a cream or lotion based and I find coppertone is the best brand.
Also am I the only one who loves the smell of the coppertone SPF 50 in a blue bottle? When I smell it it puts me in the mood to swimming and all I want to do is get in the water!
If you do use lotion based don't worry about it making your hair look greasy it's more important to keep the UV from baking it and then hurting like hell and then you have still have dirty looking hair from putting aloe vera on it and some solarcaine on it if your anything like me have red hair and extremely fair skined that people might mistake you for being albino. It really is painful for us and I rather have so much goopy sunblock lotion on that later you can scrape off with a butter knife! Nah I'm just exaggerating it some but I do apply several layers even before I venture out then another coating when I get there and sit in the shade glooping it on. I only have 2 choices for skin color… Albino or tomato and I choose albino it's painless! Lol ! Plus a very very high risk for cancer

  3. SPF causes skin cancer. Look it up. This is the dumbest things I've ever seen. They are making money of you being stupid and uneducated!

  4. Sorry, but your body needs sunlight. The corporates who make sun screens products just want your money.

  5. I apply on the lower half of my face and just wear a big hat and sunglasses. Can’t stand sunscreen around my eyes or getting my fringe greasy

  6. Children Of The Sun Need Not Engage In This As UVA, B & C Rays Blast Our Planet Day-In-Day-Out. Truthfully, This Is Blackface aka Melanin; Symple. #SolarCycle25 ☀️💧🩸🧬💎

  7. If your sunscreen burns your eyes, it’s not a good one to use on your face!!! I use Beauty of Joseon on my face and Hawaiian tropic for the rest of my body!!
