This is a dupe of Honey I Washed the Kids from Lush. The FO was purchased from Nature’s Garden and the scent is named Honey Bunny. It smells wonderful and the site says there is no discoloration or acceleration, but the batch has darkened a bit. The top layer was made with a shea butter M&P base with added honey and beeswax. Hope you enjoy!

  1. LOL watching this during commercials of Game of Thrones ondemand! Nice soap! And good taste! hehe ~Heather

  2. I think the Honey made the color change – I think that natural sugars in the honey is being burned by the lye heating it up – like when you use goats milk if its not cold enough.

  3. Love game of thrones can't wait for tonight lol. I love the soap and how you did the top 🙂

  4. was that some type of bubble wrap u used to get the bubble look? what is it called?

  5. Does the Honey Bunny scent smell like the LUSH soap? I haven't actually tried that soap yet, but I was watching the making of the Soft Coeur massage bar, and they said that they use the same "fragrance" as Honey I Washed the Kids. Of course they don't list the ingredients in the fragrance (I don't blame them), but I'm trying to make my own massage bar and I'd love to recreate the Soft Coeur as close as possible. The only "secret ingredient" I can't figure out is the fragrance.
