*Disclaimer: I am a skin care specialist, facilitating ingredient and product trainings through the company I work for. This is the official title of my position. I am not, however, a licensed dermatologist or esthetician, nor do I claim to know more than either. I have checked with multiple dermatologists and estheticians to ensure that my use of the word ‘specialist’ is appropriate, to which they have confirmed so long as I disclose that I am not a dermatologist or esthetician. After consulting my subscribers as well, I felt that because the term specialist is my career title and is deemed appropriate by licensed professionals, I would prefer to use it instead of the terms ‘expert’ or ‘guru’, neither of which apply to me because I consider myself far below ‘expert status’. Please know that I’m doing my best to use your feedback to describe who I am and what I do in the best way! If you have concerns about your skin, I always recommend going to either a dermatologist or esthetician to resolve your concern.*

  4. For some reason the lip sleeping mask works for me as well as for K.! I know I have great lip balms with amazing ingrediences, but somehow I tend to have very dry and chappy lips. But after I apply the mask and I leave it for a few hours they just heal. I don’t know why. I don’t get it. I use it rarely, since I also prefer more natural and fragrance free skincare, but it still works. Thank you for nice and informative video ☺️👍

  5. I tried the Glossier jelly cleanser and it was as useless to me as cetaphil. CeraVe foaming cleanser that you always mention is now my go to and I love it.

  6. Hyram : my skin is struggling i have been breaking out .
And my god his worse is my good 🥺🥺🥺

  7. If you have too many products to try, why not recruit a friend or two with a different skin-type than you to test products too? You can have them fill out a questionnaire or interview them about the experience, feeling, results, anthying negative, etc. THat would give your skin a break but also give you an idea on how they perform for another skin-type.

  8. how do you feel about the antipodes grapeseed butter cleanser? i have acne-prone skin and i just find this product to cleanse my skin so beautifully without stripping or any irritation! my skin literally becomes acne free!!! …welll, until i run out of it. eeks.

  10. I feel almost the same way now when I watch beauty youtubers! Either that or I've watched for a long time and that's all I stick with. I know this is a super old video, but if you like funny beauty Youtubers – seekingalexandria is sooo hilarious!!! She's one of the few gems I've found during the pandemic, including your channel!😊

  15. Wow, your job title sounds like what the Taiwanese YouTuber at the channel 'Dr. Ivan 6' doing!

P.S. Hold on, maybe not but what you do on YouTube looks similar. Dr. Ivan is skin care product formulating chemist for companies if I'm not wrong.

  16. You are not alone.
I hate scrubs on my face as well. It's so painful plus it raises my dry flaky dead skins even more LMAO

My skin is combination but leaning towards dry side more plus slight sensitive and eczema prone.

And everytime I pass by some kind of facial wash sales person they always promote oil-controling products to me but honestly before I see my dermatologist I never know that I'm actually dry combination plus sensitive and those oil-battling stuffs always broke my face even worse into cystic acne ROFL

    Sucks, huh?
