The original Gabrielle is a complete non event and a great disapointment to many established Chanel lovers. The new intense version moves somewhat towards redemption. A beautiful easy to wear fragrance although still not ground breaking. Chanel understated elegance.

Hi! I know this is older video, but I ordered coco noir lotion from Chanel , I got the Gabrielle essence sample! Wow! It’s beautiful!!! Like I have to get it!!! I feel like this is more wearable compared to no 5. Not that they are similar. But I can smell the dna of Chanel: I know ppl don’t think so. I can’t believe ppl don’t really love this. But it is top notch!! I had my husband smell it. He really liked it! Gabrielle essence will be a great day scent! I’ll keep my Nior for date night ! Oh who am I kidding I wear it during the day as well 🤣
Do you use the Gabrielle body lotion with the Gabrielle Essence perfume? I mean do the scents clash with one another?
In another video you mention that you prefer the original Gabrielle to the Essence version, can I ask what you prefer about that one? I got a sample of Gabrielle Essence online and I love it but feel torn because maybe I’d love the original one even more but I can’t go to the store to smell it 😭

As soon as you said Tuberose I knew it was a no go for me. I just don’t like anything with a noticeable Tuberose. But I am more of a fall/winter fragrance person and my collection is very unbalanced so I’m ok with the original. I will have to check it out again, I remember liking it when I smelled it at Sephora.

I fell in love with the original Gabrielle on my way out of the store – I'd already tested a bunch of perfumes (probably had anosmia at that point), but right in front of the doors was the Chanel table with Gabrielle on it. I stopped, smelled and was instantly transported to the beautiful scents of my childhood. It reminds me of an older day, a time before my generation, like from my mothers mothers time. My grandmother was such a classy lady, but never flaunted it, was always humble about it. The scent reminds me of beautiful but solid qualities, like respect, beauty, loving kindness and decency – qualities I'm sure that I'm not the only one missing in this day and age :D. Anyhooo, when I wear Chanel Gabrielle, I get such a solid sense of beauty, continuity, security, direction – strange, since it is such a "light" scent. For me, Gabrielle is, in a way, a radical scent, since it evokes these images in my mind. Very interested in seeing does Gabrielle Essence have the same effect.
Good morning Cheraye, i picked this up last night at Neiman’s and it worked well in the Texas heat. This morning, I took a chance and layered it over my beloved Beige and I’m digging the combination. It brightened Beige up a bit. I know just how much you love Beige and thought you might like it as well.
Girl I just bought this on same day delivery because it sounded just like a me fragrance haha. I’m actually returning the coco Chanel toilette because it doesn’t last long, and I’m not really the fan of the notes. So now I’ve got the Gabrielle essence on the way to me from Sephora today haha.
Hey, Cherayel,i want to say I really like the advice you gave about the body lotion like an option to make the fragrance's performance stronger! I think it's a great idea when someone likes fresh, delicate fragrances, because they are usually less powerful. I just bought Gabrielle Essence, I'm in love with the fresh, feminine , classy, delicate and elegant vibe that it gives me and I think it may become my signature scent. it bothers me a little bit that it could be weak performance so tomorrow I'm buying the body lotion because really adore how it smells , so will see how it's gonna be..
The og was bland to me… I love this one smells luxe sophisticated very womanly… I’ve had several men ask what I’m wearing
A question , Why does chanel makes the stickers on the perfumes loose? I mean why not inprint the chanel logo in the bottle. If you pay such much money for a chanel perfume and the logo is not even intprinted it can easily get off and there you have a bottle without a chanel logo.
Do you prefer the chanel gabrielle essence or coco mademoiselle intense? And vs the intense and the prive which is better?

Does the original Gabrielle lotion, wash, & hair mist smell like the essence ?? Because I hear they’re different I don’t want to go out and buy the whole entourage if they’re not close enough.. also I accidentally sprayed with BR540.. I loved it
