Most nozzles have settings where you can turn off the water by just twisting the head of it! 🙂 it’s a life changer
My Mom’s home health used all these on her when she couldn’t get into shower. So helpful for elderly tender skin.
A lot of the very cheap facial cleansers tend to cause zits which in very rare cases can cause irritation and mild infections
Have you ever tried the clear plastic bandage while you shower & wash your hair or taking a bath. That's what I've used & I've never gotten my port wet. And I've done it for 3 years❕

I have to use unscented products on my face or it breaks out in a rash. I love the CeraVe hydrating facial cleanser. I used to have a picc line and I had a shower sleeve that worked, but now I have a Hickman line in my chest and I’ve tried everything to cover it for showering but nothing works! My hubby and I both have chronic illness as well. Orion is such a handsome boy!!

I needed this video! With my POTS I can only shower around twice a week right now so the wipes would help during the week when I can't shower. Great video guys!!
I discovered this way of washing in 2018 after my spinal fusion. It was a life saver. I do use the wipes if I’m accessed or if I just can’t tolerate a shower or bath. I have chronic illnessses that make me tired and unable to accomplish certain tasks. Thanks for sharing! Nice to know I’m not the only one who has to do this.

Wish I had these wipes while bed bound after heart surgery many years ago. Bed baths are not fun when u have tubes and wires connected to you making it impossible to move.
I do some of the things you do cause I need help because of my cerebral palsy. After a year fighting insurance I finally got my new wheelchair.
Hey girl, have you heard of Shower Shield? I found them on Amazon, they are shower covers for your port area that stick to the skin, and you remove them after your shower. I have not tried them yet but hey, give them a try and let me kn5if they work. You never know. 💁♀️ this vlog was was awesome! So helpful thank you my friend!! You guy's rock as usual.😁🙋♀️

I have a double luman port (So I have two grippers in at a time cause there are two separate chambers to my port) as I am on TPN because I have Intestinal Failure. So cause of TPN and fluids, my IV meds & etc I am accessed 24/7. But my most favorite day of the week is on my gripper day 7, so I can de-access for a couple of hours and shower, wash my hair & everything properly without having to worry about my port getting wet and without having to bend over backwards trying to get clean haha 😂 Honestly Showers feel like a chore when my accessed haha. My tip to anyone who has to be accessed 24/7 if to make sure you set a side a small amount of time between gripper changes on day 7, to let yourself have a "real" shower haha. No matter how tired or not bothered I feel on gripper change days, if nothing else, I always do my best to make myself get in the shower between needle changes and wash my hair, shave and all those things most people take for granted on a day to day, when they don't have to worry about lines and I never regret it, it is always the best part of my week 😊 Honestly that's the most helpful tip I can give anyone with a port, who is unlucky enough to have to be accessed all the time. It really makes you feel human again after a week of "make do showers" xx
Some nozzles have a water "pause" switch that is on the handle! 🚿 They are typically an "eco-friendly" nozzle incase this info can help anyone. I have one and it works great 👍

I use the same wipes. They work amazing!
Please be aware that the Dove spray deodorant is LOADED with toxic chemicals, including propane which is a lung cancer causing carcinogenic. It also says right on the back "keep away from face and mouth to avoid breathing in." Also contains ether, butane, and PPG-14 which are all extremely carcinogenics. If you are immune compromised in any way, maybe you should reconsider using this product and chuck it for something more natural. I have never seen so many horrible toxic ingredients listed in one product that goes on the body, especially the pits where lymphatic glands lay right underneath and are connected to the immune system.
