There is so much that I love about the new First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Wild Oat Hydrating Toner. First of all, it is well packaged as well as very affordable. The Wild Oat Hydrating Toner is also denatured alcohol free and fragrance free. The toner can be used as a traditional toner by dampening a cotton ball and smoothing over your face. You can also use the Wild Oat Toner more as an essence and simply pat it into skin with your hands instead of using the cotton ball if you prefer. The toner has a milky appearance but does smooth over skin super nicely and leaves skin feeling SUPER soft.
There is one issue I cannot overcome- the scent. No, this doesn’t include any fragrance or perfume ingredients. Instead, First Aid Beauty added the UV SPF Filter ingredient Ethylhexyl Salicylate. It does make sense that they included it because Ethylhexyl Salicylate helps products absorb better into skin and also increases the absorption of the products you use after the toner. Unfortunately I just really can’t get over the chemical sunscreen scent. It is light, but it just never seems to fade enough for me to ignore it.

I'm super excited about this. I love my Paula's Choice redness relief serum but it is kinda expensive. This might be a good replacement that is a lot more cost effective. Thanks for the review!

I saw this and I knew you would try it out! It does seem to have a great 👍 ingredient list but I have been using the Missha Time essence and the I’m From Rice Toner. 💜

I just realized that I have never tried any thing from FAB. I know you really like their hydrating serum, if it ever goes on sale sometime please let us know and I’ll try to get it. Yeee Haaa I need my wild oats 😛 I like what I've tried from FAB but I can't use the face creams on my face as it has shea butter in. The price needs to come down in the UK. Its like mega expensive 🇬🇧👇🙄 XOXO

I wanna try this The ingredients sound awesome! I'm wondering have you tried the PC redness toner? The normal-dry version has a milky texture and it really soothing ! I'm curious if you have tried the PC redness serum which would you prefer as it seems like they do the same thing

I just got this and I really enjoy it! Personally I don’t detect much of a scent at all. Maybe it’s one of those things some noses are more sensitive to.
I also love packaging, it drips out slowly so you can really control how much you want to use!

Came back to comment again now that I’ve had this for a while. For some reason I get some irritation/bumps every time I use this! I love the hydrating serum from the same line. Not sure why this doesn’t work for me. Now I just use it for soothing skin on my body if it gets irritated. You should check out the Kitao matcha line at Ulta I’m loving the essence! About to order midnight blue cream from Klairs based on your reviews 🙃

Thanks….again! Almost bought 2 of these, not aware of the scent. I cannot handle ANY scent, even if it is not a fragrance. BTW, just ordered more of the Farmacy Very Cherry serum, per your awesome video comparing serums.
