I had the same experience with kjaer weis lipstick. It smelled like crayon and had that white film coat on the outside in less than 3 months of use. Just can’t justify the price for such short shelf life.
Don’t throw away the kjaer weis container. Reusable

Could you elaborate on why you prefer the Ambrosia over Nap in the Meadow? (I haven't tried either.) Also, do you have any new recs for mineral sunscreens? Thoughts about iron oxides? Thoughts about protecting our eyes/skin from what our devices are emitting?
So btw… I've seen repeated references hither and yon to employing microfiber cloths with only water to cleanse off makeup and sunscreen. Since I had a 2-pack from the Dollar Tree which were an epic failure at cleaning my house, I figured I'd amuse myself by trying that cleansing method with them first rather than add to the landfill. Well… it worked. Although not as esthetically pleasing as my usual double cleanse in the evening, I'm really thrilled that something so simple and gentle actually works! I now use them for the first cleanse, then go in with whatever I would normally use for a second cleanse. Now I'm fascinated by the science of how that actually works!

That's so disappointing to hear about KW going bad so quickly. I got a sample of the kahina oil cleanser through the petit vour box and think of you every time I use it. It is beautiful. 💕
I REALLY wish eco makeup brands with shorter shelf lives would offer smaller sizes! If I were the kind of person who only used one color blush every day the sizes they sell would be perfect, but I generally like to have about 5 blush options, 2-3 bronzers, etc. It's been great to see a few brands like Vapor and RMS start to offer minis of some of their products–I understand it might be harder to do from a profit or manufacturing perspective, but when we are using makeup with lovely natural ingredients it seems to go against the whole eco-friendly thing to have many customers throwing out half of their products unused.
Maybe since you have a platform and more "influence" within the green beauty community you could mention this to any brands you interact with 🙂
