This video reminds me of my Self Care Sundays. I’m hoping the name is self explanatory! I try to get to as many categories as I feel like on those days. Didn’t realize the dior apricot cuticle cream had been around for so long! It’s definitely a favorite and won’t ever be missing from my set. Didn’t know they had cuticle oil either, I’ll have to try that and perhaps the Fenty. In the shower I just can’t go past the Necessaire line. I’ve just ordered that deodorant too so I have high hopes. Hadn’t tried any of the hair treatments so there are some there for me to explore. I’d only just jumped on the Olaplex wagon (I know I’m late to the party). Kevin Murphy’s line is one I find good for hair care too. Lips, I’ve discovered I can’t go past the By Terry. Holy Moly that’s good. It’ll have to wait though as I have at least two pots of lip care I need to get through! Thanks for this one. Very informative and gives me stuff to look forward to. Cheers Matilda.
“Gives my limbs a cuddle” what a brilliant way to describe putting on lotion. This video is reminding me of other self care routes that I would normally neglect or forget about. So relaxing! Thanks Matilda!
this is amazing! One question though, is Necessaire shipping to Australia already? Because last time I tried ordering, they said they do not ship internationally due to Covid restrictions.
I always look forward to these videos so much! I love to see so many repeats from previous years because then you know they are products that really work and withstand the test of time. We need really Necessaire to come out with a rose or geranium scent next 😉
The timing of this video couldn't be better: I've been trying to nudge myself into the shower for hours, but now I feel inspired! My bath and body discovery of 2021 was low-pH deodorants. My favorite has definitely been the Kosas serum formula, but something tells me that Necessaire gel might be another low pH goodie?
I finallyyy got the nécessaire body wash after searching for it in my country and I have it in eucalyptus, and I get the hype honestly, and the texture is just dreamy
Lovely picks M! I've been enjoying the glossier moon mask per your recommendation, and Dr. Jart's hydrating sheet masks. Been struggling with cystic acne so the self-care is much appreciated.
Lemon scented body cleansers is one of my favorite fragrances for when I am experiencing stress. I discovered this when I was in the Navy and bought a lemongrass scented bar soap. I didn’t know fragrance could do so much to elevate my mood. 💜 I think I want to try a lemongrass body wash now.
Your videos are so beautiful to watch! Thank you for all of the attention and care put into making them 💜 Lanolips is the GOAT and I would love to try necessaire products!
Oh my god. Pausing on your video – I just stayed at Arlo in NYC a few weeks ago where they had Blind Barber products. I’m back in Sydney and this just reminded me of how much I loved their scents! I’m hoping you have a website linked that will ship to Australia.
I can relate! I haven’t had a bath tub for many years. Maybe over a decade now. But… my husband and I just bought a house and it has a bath tub 🛀!!! Can’t wait to take baths!
I LOVE that you love Lanolips!! It's the OG lip product. I love cockatoo by Olive and June too but I can NEVER get to day 8 like your nails do! I'm not sold on trying Necessaire yet although I do adore bergamot as a fragrance and the idea of a body serum.
I have and love the Olverum bath oil and Lano's golden salve and their hand creams. This year I have discovered Gucci beauty's nail polish which are so good. No base coat needed, dries quickly and long lasting. Matilda have you tried any of Gucci's nail polishes yet?
Tried a couple of Nécessaire products last year bcoz of your recommendation & they've completely made it to my regular body care routine. The fragrance-free deodorant & hand cream are definitely some of my 2021 faves!
Hi Mathilda! I loved this video, it's so calming. Also I like how products appear repeatedly over the years–really shows that you genuinely love them! Excited to see a perfume video from you 🙂
I live by the OlaPlex treatments for hair. ( i have the pre wash 0 and 3 and a styling cream for blow outs/ and or smoothing second day styles). When i had my hair dyed red i would use a color maintaining mask for red hair, i remember how silky and smooth it felt. On the bath side, i keep using the satsuma line from the body shop. Just the most amazing realistic orange smell to give me a happiness boost. My second favorite is the verveine one from l'occitane, another delightful smell. On the nail side, i am enjoying the nail bases and serums from mavala. While the brand is Swiss, I discovered them in paris, so painting my nails cheers me up and reminds me of the huge stands of nail polish in the monoprix. For hand cream, the clear favorite last year was the humble hemp cream by the body shop, it was The savior that worked during the night to undo the dryness of hand sanitizers.
The Necessaire body lotion is a bit out of my price range (🥴) but my sister got it for me as a birthday present last year and oh my lord…. I have never applied lotion more! It’s dreamy and so effective at keeping the winter dry crust at bay. Once that tube sadly ran out, I returned to my good old aveeno dry skin formula which has been vital in keeping my hands from cracking open this winter. The dimethecone in the aveeno lotion is so important to lock the moisture in and keep in on your body, not just rubbing off the next second. Great video as always :))
I've had the worst week ever, but watching this beautiful beauty editorial on my tv was the highlight. You saved my dry skin last week with the La Roche Posay baume. The CR mask just came in a subscription box, so it must be fate. Might round it out with a Matilda approved lippie or nail polish for a mini pick me up before rejoining the real world. : )
the tragedy of not having a bath! i absolutely adore your “scent memory” phrase. for me i’ll always associate lemongrass with my mother. no matter how far i am from home, it wraps me up in comfort like one of her hugs 💕 looking forward to the content in the new year
Such a lovely video! I'll have to give lanolips and hand creams a try sometime! Also recently bought my Mom some of the Rare beauty products you recommended for her birthday and she loved them! 🙂😄
Dear Matilda Thank you for your videos ❤ I have a question, I read that Christophe Robin suggests to use his scrub and mask once a week, or once every 2 shampoos, you mentioned that you used them both almost every time you showered, didn't it make you hair fall ? Or make them heavy?
So in Sephora in my country the lano coconutter has the same price as the golden skin salve but obviously the second is a much bigger tube, I love the coconutter one, is the golden skin salve the exact same as the fruity 101 ointments in texture, glossiness, repairing?

I gasped out loud when you said you didn’t have a bath anymore. I couldn’t imagine!

Watching this before giving exam just removed all my anxiety
A new body wash I am loving is called Saltair. Not only do I love the product but I also really like their philosophy statement.
Please do a FRAGRANCE FAVORITES!!!!!❤❤❤❤😁😁
Ooh those are my three favorite hand creams too!! What a coincidence! Definitely want to pick up that cuticle oil and cream now 💕

Thank you! I want a take a moment for self care right now! I realize it’s been too long, I miss it. Great recommendations as always!

I'd love to try nécessaire but unfortunately I can't put my hand on their products :'(

I think you should film an at-home hair curling tutorial for beginners 🙌🏻🙌🏻♥️♥️

i love all the three installments! your beauty favorites are my “favorite” videos to watch in your channel!

I clicked on this SO FAST, i was waiting for this video
I'm so sad that Necessaire didn't work miracles for me! The products certainly aren't bad, but I didn't notice anything different or special.
