This is the best cleaning hack you will ever come across when it comes to cleaning a shower screen. With no harsh chemicals or scrubbing required, this is by far the best cleaning hack you need to know. Most cleaning products claim to easily clean the built up soap scum, grime, hard water stains and what ever other dirty materials are on the glass shower screen. Through experience and im sure most will agree that the majority of products are either harsh chemicals or require significant elbow grease to remove just a little bit of the mess. This is the fastest, safest and easiest way i have found to clean it in seconds through the use of a utility blade, razor blade or scraper blade which ever you prefer to call it. 1. Would a putty scraper work as well? If so, you could get a much wider blade to save time.

  2. I could never and would NEVER let my shower get that filthy that when you scrap off the dirt it flakes! Man you should be ashamed to even show this on a video!!

  3. Help me, please!
It didn't work it only worked on the top bit.
I then sprayed it clean with vinegar and wiped it down then I applied dishwashing tablet plus toilet cleaner gel left it overnight scrapped it again and again it didn't work.
Applied dishwasher tablet with toilet cleaner gel, left it for several hrs reapplying it then steelwool much scrubbing and scrappedit with razor. Still no good.
I need something that will soften the lime scale as nothing has been effective.

  4. Going to try in couple of hours. Will come back with the results soon 😊

Edited: It's pure Magic, worked with ease. Earlier wasted money on expensive glass cleaning products but that didn't work. Thank you !!

  5. Good tips here. Yes, vinegar is a great solvent for hard water and helps with this cleaning method.

  6. I was planning on doing this project this weekend and I'm pretty sure you just saved me a lot of elbow grease. Thank you 😊

  7. Me who doesn't have a blade and HAVE to clean the shower and tried everything else and is on a time crunch
    🤡

  8. After scraping it anyway the glass is stuffed and will return but it’s a good way of keeping it clean

  9. I just use antibacterial citrus cleaning wipes from Aldi, super easy and works the best for me 👍🏼

  10. I always thought screens had millions of tiny holes in them but here is a solid screen.

  11. Fantastic, thanks for this. My shower screen has 18 years of build up of debris. Great tutorial.

  12. You sir are a genius!! This worked so well!!! I still used some gumption on a wet cloth afterwards to scrub the last little bit off but because 99% of the soap scum was already removed there was very little scrubbing needed. This restored a 15 year old show screen to near new. This is why youtube is such a great resource. Thanks again for sharing.

  13. I've been cleaning showers for over 15 years, not to mention the 20 years of cleaning before that (my mum raised good clean girls who aren't afraid to get dirty..
I thought you were joking when you pulled that tiny blade out. 😂🤣😂🤣
Nothing wrong with a really good scrubbing brush and some elbow grease 😊

  14. Also what do I use to remove rust from the metal shower door frame? And is there anything I can use to keep it off?

  15. I tried everything, our shower screen is plastic not glass, nothing is working so far. And the only advise is baking powder or soda or lemon, it doesn't work.

  16. If that's how you let your rental get, what a nasty PoS it is. Clean the mold in the shower, dude!

  17. Scratch the glass? Use new blade? That person needed to use a squeegie every shower and what the hell was all that scum? Geez, what a pig.

  18. Its not the blade its the vinegar.
Mix household vinegar 8% acid ? Mix vinegar to water 50-50 …1 litre water- 1 litre vinegar, throw in a desert spoon of dishwashing liquid in a spray bottle.
Spray on generously , let soak for 10 mins and wash it off with a firm rag etc

  19. Friend has end of Tenancy Cleaning business. He uses a blade to get rid of limescale on shower doors (hard water area), after spraying with a limescale removing spray.

  20. I do this on my fish tank as I can't use chemicals to clean it. Never thought about using it at home lol.

  21. Nice, I just did that b4 watching this video and it's good. Now I still have mineral deposit etching…..
