Hello, Kevy, this razor is really beautiful but when I checked the price It is very costly also almost equal to Feather AS D2.
I knew it! You live in a Scottish stately home! Love the look of that razor.
I like the way that razor sang. Really cool.
Do you own many stainless steel razors? And where is this one made?
Great brush! Super soft knot and nice, vintage style.
Are you really in Burbank, Ca because I am close to you let me know
A brilliant shave. The razor is very expensive though, 185 bucks.
Kevy are you a Celtic or Rangers fan?
Love all your videos kevy. Keep doing what your doing brother 👏 🙌
Great shave Kevy.
On the subject of phases. I recently went through a razor buying phase, I've now recovered from that and I'm currently in a soap buying phase 🤣🤣
Great video Kevy 👍 looking forward to the video of you using the Simpson t3 iv has one for a few months now looking forward to your opinion on it 🏴
Just ordered one of those brushes from PAA. I love all their products. That razor looks interesting…Great shave..thanks
Beautiful shearing sound with that razor. Bumfluff soft synthetic. All good. I get what you say about phases by the way : In-between buying scents, I occasionally buy a soap or a brush.👍
This was a first rate, relaxing shave. The lather building gave your face the necessary massage to circulate blood to the surface and promote a relaxing experience. I really enjoyed the extra time you took. It is the proper manner to enjoy wet shaving. Not to mention it also put the new brush through some paces. I have come to admire the Blackbird every time I see it. It has caused me conflict with the Carbon CX-316L. I concur that the ATG pass was singing a chorus of audio feedback! But I digress. Cedrat is hard to beat. I believe you've had it longer than 3 years to be honest. That show go on my wish list as I write this. That vintage Perma-Sharp complete this winning pairing of gear. I would like to see how it fares in the Rocca, and the Carbon. I imagine it will shake your foundations. Stay safe, and keep your Mrs, and RIley healthy.
Great vid Kevy! Question: Where do you get your little silicone washers from mate?
Good stuff, Kevy! The Blackbird is one of my top shavers. Once you get used to it, the efficiency is almost addictive. As you were loading soap into the brush I was thinking you would be adding h2o for days! The dunk of the whole knot probably saved you hours. 😉 I immediately thought "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" when you said horizontal elevator. 😁
Cheers! -Rob
Always look forward to your videos, always give me a good chuckle, and I learn something each time. Keep up the great work
I want like to write something witty and interesting but on this occasion: I got nuthin(I've always wanted to say that)'…I am in a location that is a "Hot Spot" and back under a stay home order…Plus, still furloughed from work…So have nothing to add to party..Oh well…Adios.
What I like about you Kevvy is you are not a product snob, i mean you are not afraid to use and review basics from superdrug or primark even omg, good work man.
Love your shaves, even if I don’t learn any thing you make me laugh. I just did a quick search on the internet, just as I thought, summer in Scotland is still a myth, I live in Saskatchewan, we get 10 mounths of winter & two mounths of poor curling.
Can't beat a PAA brush 👌
Nobody lathers like Kevy! Great video.
Very nice shave I’m sold on the Blackbird. Agreed it’s very beautifully crafted & it even sounded aggressive. Now, I’m even more interested in you’re bathroom elevator very superb and it goes sideways, I want one of those 😳😂
Why are videos are special?
you’re personality one Isco a kind people are just drawn to you, you’re funny, you do silly stuff during you’re videos that makes us smile, you’re trustworthy and honest with you’re reviews. You’re one of a kind, lastly we like you! Keep it up Kevy
Hi mate, how aggressive would you say these are in Vintage Gillette terms? I’d like to buy a Blackland razor, but don’t want to spent the large sum of money on something too aggressive.
Proper enabler you are, Kevy! Now I need to have that brush. 😟
That blade edge has a similar sound to shaverboy razors
Ah!….that's why we never see you in the shower!!………it's a prop!! 🤣🤣🤣. I know all about props working in Theatre (luvvie!). Great shave Kevy from a great razor. Mine arrived yesterday (I emailed you) and it really is one for the collection. Beautiful all round and a fantastic shaver!! I don't really get on with Personna blades but I received 5 personna super USA with the Blackbird. I am loving the Vikings Sword you recommended mate! For the money the Simpsons Trafalgar range take some beating! Oh yeah…….I thought at first when I came across my first shaving video, it was you or Geo, I thought that's weird!! Why would you watch someone shaving. The razor being reviewed though was one I owned so I watched the video and was hooked immediately!! And yes, I'm weird!! 😂😂
Take care and stay safe,
Dave.
hEY Kevy, summer in Scotland, haha, rain that's not so cold. A bit…………maybe. We like you 'cause you're a nutter.
How does the Blackbird compare to the Homelike Colibri?
FIRST PRESBYTERIAN BANK O' SCOTLAND!
45 pounds for 2 brushes. Should I say it expensive or heavy hahahahaha
Kevy, explain to me why you have a 24mm brush? The only brush I have at 24mm and under is a Simpson Chubby 1 and (maybe it’s me, I don’t know) I find absolutely useless. Most of mine are 28mm and over and work better for me.
Keep up the great work.
Terrific shave video Kevy, could not stop laughing when you spoke about the drawers….I remember when I filled up my first few shelves and my wife was like, just get a drawer chest. I think I might need another one now. 😉
Just ordered this jam
Привет Кеви,отличное бритье! Недавно приобрел в свою коллекцию Дрозда,пока в предвкушении. Смотрю твое видео и наслаждаюсь!!! Удачи.
My shave den consists of two very small drawers in my bathroom. Got enough soap to last 2 years; enough blades to last me 4 1/2 years, a razor to last me a lifetime, a solid marble lathering bowl to last a lifetime, 1 shaving brush to last me likely 5-10 years, and a couple of alum blocks. I will be adding 1 more razor to my den for my birthday in March, bringing my razor collection to 2. Almost forgot – got enough pre-shave to last likely 2-3 years and enough after shave balm to last me about 3 months.
Kevy is a victim of marketing like me, I can't resist buying things.
Nice looking brush Kevvy , really enjoyed your vid as always…
How would you compare it to the Peregrino ?
Which one do you prefer? This one, the Amber Aerolite with Stygian knot, or the StarWisp 26mm Stygian knot again??
Just order this from phoenix, it’s my soap I’ve order from them and I love it! Especially the scent, I’m probably going with clubguy next time
