this is sooo my story too! acutane worked wonders for me as well. i struggled with acne almost my entire teenage years. and it only got worse after that. not to mention the scars. i used to be so depressed and so low on confidence. i didn't feel like going out. just like you, i tried everything natural but nothing worked. topical creams/ointments failed. only then did i go to a dermatologist and was prescribed acutane for 6 months. i saw a difference within the first 3 days! since then, i have had breakouts here and there,but nothing major. i don't know what i would've done without it. i only wish i had made this decision earlier in life and saved my skin from getting permanently scared.

I am sorry if people are so sensitive about prescription meds but as someone with sever acne – rubbing nuts and berries on your face will not help. I've had a great results with retin-a prescription. It's not for the faint of heart and i recently heard 50% of people can't use it and the first 3 months were rough but I really love the results!

2 months left on accutane for me!! Took me two years to finally make the leap of faith and I'm so happy so far that I did! It makes me really tired, lol. It's pretty tough to be on but it's so wonderful.

I watched your review on the tarte rainforest of the sea products and I purchased the foundation and the hydrating boost jar! I then subscribed. thanks for an honest review because I love the way the products feel and smell! I also found face to be less red and smooth.
I've never struggled with acne, but my partner did as a teen, and it's a really touchy subject, so I've seen first hand how badly it can affect your self worth. I hate that people assume that someone with a skin condition is dirty, or doesn't take care of themselves.
My sister and I both were put on Accutane after years and years of chorionic acne and it was the best thing we ever did! But like you we took very good care of ourselves. Thank you for sharing your story!
I really enjoyed this video! I was on accutane when I was 15. I had super oily skin so I actually didn't really experience the super dryness that it can cause it actually just balanced my skin out. I never had horrible skin but I would get clusters of cystic acne that would just sit under my skin for months. So awful. I'm 25 now and I break out if I have too much dairy or refined sugar and not enough water. Although accutane is a harsh drug it helped me and I didn't have really any side effects either. Like you said it won't be for everyone but my experience with it was very positive. I remove my make up with the Mac cleanse off oil then use a Rocky Mountain soap bar too! I like the one with oats in it but right now I've been using the avocado one & really like it. I tone with a rose witch hazel from planet organic & atm I'm trying out some bioderma moisturizers but when I'm not using those I use a basic spectra moisturizer & mix in lavender oil. It's great for preventing white heads!

I'm so glad you found something that worked! I have had mild to moderate acne since I was 12, and I'm 38 now! If someone had told me that at 38 I would still be dealing with acne I would have just…given up, lol. Anyway, I only had cystic acne during my first trimester of pregnancy. After having my daughter I started breaking out so bad on my jaw and neckline. I refused to wear my hair in a pony tail, I was so embarrassed. I was never a candidate for Accutane although I very often wish I was! What finally helped the acne was the antibiotic doxycycline. I took it for 2 weeks. That and I use a Rx cream called Epiduo. Cleared that horrible neck acne right up! That was 3 years ago and things still look good. I will get the occasional breakout but I can deal with it.
After I had my kids I started having hormonal acne around my jawline. My dermatologist gave me Retin-A and it has helped so much! I think it helps with more mild cases of acne. Thank you so much for sharing your story.

is the mousturizer oil free?
My skin issues are not the worst but they are bad for me , I've never experienced horrible break outs until i moved from one side of the country to another . I assumed my skin was just "adjusting" but it's been a while now , I just got some of the rocky mt soaps in the mail hopefully they help my skin out !! I have really dry skin on the outer portion of my skin and oily around my nose and chin .

Accutane is poison, Acne comes from WITHIN, you need to change diet and eating better so it makes your hormones normal DIET #1 when you come off accutane it will be HELL I love this video. Do whats best for YOU
your skin is the biggest organ in your body when you dont eat right or treat it right it will not be good.
