In this video I put a spider and a fly that I caught in my house in my vacuum chamber. Insects are interesting to test in a vacuum chamber because they have an exoskeleton which can potentially save them from exploding in the vacuum chamber. Watch my test to see what happens. If they survive the vacuum chamber then they will be released into the wild instead of being squished.

Excellent video, but I do have a question; why were the spider and fly not affected by the lack of oxygen. It seems that it would have removed the oxygen from their systems and suffocated them.

You need a novelty warning sign that says trespassers will be locked inside a vacuum chamber and then released (if they survive). Might want to only keep it indoors, though, unless you get the okay from someone with actual legal knowledge that it's okay to be outside.
