I don't think anyone really liked cousin Oliver…. I kind of feel bad for him, but I heard he's a real jerk in real life.
My family was 3 boys and 3 girls in a 3 bedroom house. We had the Brady Bunch bedspreads before they did. We only rented a TV a few times per year, though, so I rarely saw this show as a kid. We read books instead, and I’m glad we did.

This TV program was awesome and I most identify with Alice even today..Most of all I miss living in the seventies I would give up all luxuries and technology just to live like that forever. Better times and nicer people
That scene at 4:39 of Florence Henderson standing at the front door looks a lot like Shelley Long when she played Carol Brady in the movie version. Doesn't look at all like Florence Henderson, does anyone else think so?

At 4:39 is NOT Florence Henderson. That is Shelley Long who portrayed Carol Brady in the Brady Bunch movie.
Cousin Oliver may have been a flop. But I did enjoy the episode when he thought he was a jinx. That was a funny one.

As a kid, we never, ever questioned what Carol and Mike's relationships were before they became a Bunch. And whether widowed or divorced, it made no difference whatsoever.

I always wondered why the children never got to visit with their cousins or grandparents from their other sides (“natural “ moms & dads).
But “cousin Oliver” had no parents & that’s when I stopped watching. He was also very annoying

According to your “Facts”, the writers used a “sneaky ploy” to let viewers know that Carol was divorced, not widowed.
Your “facts” say because Carol’s maiden name was Tyler. But right before she & Mike got married, her last name was Martin. How does this at all insinuate that Carol was divorced? Most women DO NOT go back to their maiden name when they become widows. That usually happens if they DO GET divorced…YOU IDIOTS!!!

4:37 that's Shelly Long, not Florence Henderson. Also, TV Guide named Homer Simpson as one of TVs greatest dad's on that same list so yeah. They named every TV dad ever.

Barry Williams said he hated when people called him Greg or Greg Brady off set when someone meet him or wanted an autograph. He threw out a first pitch at a professional game, they introduced him as Greg Brady. He called them idiots and was irritated by it.
I was 15 in '69 when the show started. I was never a huge fan, but I watched it many times. I liked Marcia like almost everyone else, but I thought Jan was cute too, and had MORE personality. Now that they are adults, I would choose Jan.
