Yes! Vetiver-heavy fragrances can get kinda "off" on me too. Happens a lot. And yes, I was smiling at Montblanc Signature maybe getting the boot! 😄 It's all good though – you gotta keep curating that collection. Tastes morph and change as do feelings toward fragrances. Part of the "collecting" game, you know?
Don't feel embarrassed with Mont Blanc Signature. I get you! LOL. I bought into the hype yet luckily only got a subscription size of it from Royalty Scents or ScentBird. Literally all I got from it was a tart, pungent blast of Clementine and maybe a hint of Magnolia. 3 hours later….it smelled the same! I have only had 3 "scrubbers" so far and this was one of them! To make it worse, not only was I getting basically only fresh squeezed tart Clementine, but it felt as if I was smelling the white fleshy pith of under the rind as well. It was so bad! It smelled to me like that solid disc-shaped industrial Citrus room deodorizer that they sell in Target, etc. But in my memory, that smelled much better! But, that's the way it goes with fragrances on different people, right!?! LOL This one immediately went to my daughter who is 15 and just happy to inherit anything I give her for free 😉
