  1. Thanks for sharing! I love Vaseline cocoa butter lotion. I also love Palmer's cocoa butter oil all over after shower…gives you baby soft skin 😊

  2. You look perfect. I agree with not getting Botox and fillers that young. Save the money for handbags and only spend on that when absolutely necessary. I waited to get Botox until I was 37 and I think that was a perfect time to start.

  3. Where do you get your nails done?:) I live downtown Montreal and haven't found a good place yet!

  4. OMG, I've been using that Murad moisturizer for years now and love it. I have the oiliest skin ever and that's a holy grail product for me. If they ever discontinue it I'll die, lol. No seriously… I just started using that MUFE primer too, about a month ago-seems to work pretty good so far.

  5. They are not the first but the worst wrinkles ever, they are in the neck and chest, you didnt use the vaseline cream there, but a good cream like the one that you use in night! 🙂

  6. Loved this video! I can't stand chapped lips either – I usually make my own lip scrub using equal parts honey, brown sugar and olive oil — works like a charm!

  7. Need a neck cream. The best neck products: bioelements firming serum & revive neck cream. Do not use drug store body creams! Horrible ingredients & have heard they use road kill. Think about it: why is it sooo cheap?? I use only Kiehl's creme de corps. Thanks for sharing beautiful 😘

  8. Do they have a whole foods in Canada.. Your skin is flawless either way although plant based skin care without alcohol and man made ingredients are always feeding your cells in a better way.. I know you didnt ask me what I thought but I just thought throwing a good example wouldnt be a bad thing but more like a plus.

  9. I'm slightly older than you and from where I stand, I would highly recommend that whatever you do for your face, you also do for your hands and neck. Age is most apparent in these two areas & they're a dead giveaway of the aging process. I would also recommend sunblock every single time you leave the house & make sure you put it on your hands. Hands are exposed in the daily and most hand creams don't have spf in them. Murad makes a great spf crean that I really enjoy. Don't think you mentioned exfoliation or retenoids, also crucial to cell turnover and reduction of wrinkles. Keep up the diligence, it's worth it! Hugs from San Diego!!

  10. I just uploaded a new vlog too !

Check me out if you want a bit of New York.

Love and light to you, Mel!

  11. Hi Mel! I have oily/acne prone skin and am also Italian. My skin has really changed in the last 1.5 years (I am 24 years old) , including developing rosascea (it's hereditary for me) and has been difficult to deal with. I am not sure that I am at the point where I have 'product' recommendations for you, because I have hyper-sensitive/reactive skin and I can't test much. But a few general tips:

    – the masks are likely causing a lot of irritation that you don't even realize — even though you feel like they're plumping your skin, they're also likely clogging your pores. My dermatologist has REALLY recommended getting rid of all of these masks other than one that helps to de-clog, if you want. I find they irritate me too much so I just use no masks.

    – I recommend using an AHA/BHA weekly peel or peel pads and not exfoliating (it will aggravate your rosacea). I bought the glycolic peel pads by Malin & Goetz from Etiket on Sherbrooke near Guy (a FANTASTIC skincare store in Montreal with a bunch of brands I thought we didn't have in Montreal) and have liked them. Peter Thomas Roth also makes some, but the Malin & Goetz ingredients are much more simple (literally glycolic acid + water) which to me means less irritation and less potential to clog the pores.

    – using too many hair products can be VERY bad for acne-prone skin. Your hair touches your face all day, plus your hair sits on your pillow at night and so do your cheeks! I no longer use any hair products other than shampoo/mask/conditioner except for my last-day hair when I know I am washing it that night — then I use some dry shampoo, texturizing spray, etc. but it's ok because it will be washed out before sleep.

    – consider switching to a simpler/more natural detergent for your laundry. Again, your face sits on your pillow all night! I switched from regular Tide (that was scented) to the more natural Tide in the white and light blue bottle. It helped a lot. I also found that I absolutely CANNOT use those pods that you throw in the wash instead of using liquid detergent, because the detergent residue stays in your clothes more and causes me to break out.

    – change your pillow case as much as possible. I use basic white sheets, so I buy a bunch of extra white pillowcases at the Bay and try to remember to change it every-other night. This again will help with the oil build-up on your face.

That's all 🙂 None of these things will be the end-all be-all answer to having oily and acne-prone skin, but they each REALLY help to keep skin clear and are not big commitments — just slight changes that will make big differences.

P.S. I am going to try some Murad products now, @heyclaire also loves one of their overnight moisturizers that she swears by and says helps keep her acne-prone skin clear!

  12. Hi Mel! Also from Montreal! You can find the Laura mercier hand creams at holts! Love your videos!!!

  13. Try Aveda "Hand Relief" hand creme. It will change your life! It has the best lightweight scent (even men will use it!) contains aloe and lasts through 3 hand washes-try it and thank me later! It is the Holy Grail Hand creme!

  14. I love how you showed everything you use from head to toe, wish more YouTube's did it cos I think all of your skin is important not just your face, also the Olay gel would it be ok to use on 20yr old skin I'm all about preventing&where could I get it in Australia?
btw you don't look 32 you look more like younger

  15. From the way your beautiful mama looks you won't need to do anything as you get older!

  16. Do not get Botox, you have very nice skin. People who get Botox look fake and scary. Age gracefully.
