Gentle Herbal Soap / Cancer Warrior Soap Recipe

The roots of this gentle herbal soap started in my time as a volunteer at CANSA where my patients needed an alternative to harch chain store soap. I made this for many years under the name “Cancer Warrior Soap” This is a gentle uncolored and fragrance-free soap, with lots of Olive oil and a tad bit of Coconut and Castor just to even out the sliminess associated with Castille – 100% Olive oil soap.
For this batch, I made a tea with Skin loving Herbs (Stinging Nettle, White Sage, Fumatory)

Original Recipe Formulation:
Olive Oil 80%
Coconut oil 15%
Castor Oil 5%
Superfat 5%

Adjusted 1kg Recipe with only two oils:
Coconut oil 100grams
Olive Oil 700 grams
Water/Tea 170grams (Tea must be cooled to room temperature)
Lye 95grams (Also called Caustic Soda or Sodium Hydroxide NaOH)
