Hi everyone! Welcome back to the Rainbow Extravaganza for 2020! In this video, I’m making the new #WORTHY soap. This soap represents the rainbow and human rainbow – with a message that all are worthy of love and respect – scented in a fragrance blend of sweet tea, sugar, and mint.

I’m only making one video per soap for this Rainbow Extravaganza. Since this video was sped up but not really short, I decided to try another voice over. Thanks for watching!

Every day that we get closer to this release, it is looking like August 6th will be the date that we release the products from the Rainbow Extravaganza. I am still making accompanying products. Stay tuned to our social media accounts to stay up to date.

F A Q S

Why doesn’t your video have a recipe and supply list? This video is not a tutorial.

How do I get started in soapmaking? Start off by researching. Educate and then experiment. Be sure to follow all proper safety precautions. A great starting place is the beginner cold process soapmaking series by SoapQueenTV here on YouTube. You can then purchase all the supplies you need at Bramble Berry. Lovin Soap Studio also has a beginner series on YouTube.

Why don’t you share your cold process soap recipe? Our recipe is proprietary. We are contractually obligated to keep our recipe a secret. I do occasionally share a test recipe. I highly recommend Bramble Berry, Lovin’ Soap, and The Nerdy Farm Wife for free recipes. Those resources are a great starting point and then you can tweak your favorite recipe to make it your own.

Where do you buy your oils? We purchase our oils in bulk at Soapers Choice, Wholesale Supplies Plus, and Sam’s Club.

Where did you buy your molds? My husband builds all my wood molds. My silicone molds are from various suppliers.

Where did you buy your soap planer? My husband built the soap planer for me.

Where did you buy your soap cutter? We purchased our soap cutter at Bud’s Woodshop.

Where did you buy your soap loaf splitter? Our loaf splitter was purchased from Smith Creek Studio.

Where do you buy your soaping containers? My pitchers are from School Masters and my large plastic containers are from Webstaurant Store.

Where do you buy your fragrance oils? We purchase our oils from many different suppliers. We don’t have a one-stop-shop for all of our oils. We blend the majority of the fragrances we work with.

Where do you buy your colors? We buy our colors at Bramble Berry, Nurture Soap, and Mad Micas.

Where do you buy your coconut milk? I was buying So Delicious Organic Coconut Milk on Amazon but I think you all bought them out! Ha! I now buy Native Forest Organic Coconut Milk. Please don’t buy them out. I need coconut milk. lol

Where do you buy your soap boxes? We usually buy our boxes from Wholesale Supplies Plus or Elements Bath and Body.

How do you design and print your labels? I use Adobe Photoshop to design my labels. I use full sheet labels and print with our HP Laser Jet Pro printer.

Where do you buy your packaging materials? We buy our packaging materials at various suppliers including Paper Mart, ULine, Nashville Wraps, Eco Enclose, and Amazon.

Do you give classes? No, I do not offer classes. However, if you need help, leave me a comment and I’ll see what I can do.

Why are the comments disabled on your older videos? Due to some very negative, hateful, and vile comments, I am no longer allowing commenting on older videos. The older videos seem to be the ones targeted. Newer videos may have approved comments for a time. I welcome decent, respectful comments.

  1. Love this soap.
Also, as a biracial woman, I really appreciated and loved your words at the end of the video. Very well put.

  2. We need more of THIS type of positivity and encouragement! Thank you for this Holly! God bless you 🤗

  3. Ah Holly, I always love your videos! This one made me cry, it is beautiful and inspirational! Sometimes it pays to soap when you really aren't in the mood emotionally!

  4. This is absolutely gorgeous and powerful!! May I have your permission to re-create this design?

  7. Oh my gosh the soaps are absolutely stunning Holly I love them just beautiful best hiccup ever lol. Thanks Holly you really are a sweetie. 💕💕💐

  8. Oh Holly, This a soap is total you and your sense of humanity to others! It is so your personality and totally unique to your way of thinking. It is #worthy for sure. I really like the look of the bar. There's a whole lot of color going on. With the virus (pandemic) raging, the soap kind of reflects the crazy mixed up world we are living in at the moment. It also shows that everyone working together, we will make it through to the other side! All those colors living in harmony, just like people all should. We are all from the same race, the human race!

  9. Holly, I’ve been watching your videos for a while, and they are all lovely—but this was the first one that made me cry. Your humanity shines through in your work—thank you for the reminder that we are all #worthy

  10. I always love and appreciate it when creative people use their artwork and their platform to speak out on issues, you said what is in a lot of people's hearts. The swirls I think added a nice touch because, in both flags, everyone has to work together to see the change we want in the world. I've stopped following certain soap makers for just using the rainbow during pride month but not explaining anything surrounding it, and this video really just spoke to me and I really appreciate you making it. Thank you.

  11. This gave me all the feels. What an amazing creation. You are so so talented and I can tell you have such a kind heart ❤️💜💚 #worthy

  12. Such a classy and fun soap! I love the motivation and story behind it too. Beautiful soap and beautiful message. 😊❤🧡💛💚💙💜🖤🤎🤍

  13. As a fellow Soaper, and a Brown girl, I can’t tell you how much I loved this batch. I’ve been watching you for years and I respect your depth and desire to demonstrate your hope for humankind. Thank you 👍🏾❤️💟🙌🏾

  14. Your soaps are awesome, your videos are so pleasant and calming just remind you of better days, truly it’s what you project in you chats 💕now striving to do awesome myself not copy but try to reach your level

  15. I love this soap and the heart you put behind it. Thank you so much for this and putting it into the world ❤️❤️ God bless you, your business, and your family!

  16. OMG this is astonishing!!! (the rainbow part really reminded me of infrared diagram haha)

  17. Holly you are so fun. Wish you were my neighbor!

  18. I watch several other soap makers, but you are (from what I see) the ONLY soap maker that had acknowledged the turmoil in the country. Not only did you acknowledge it, you created piece of art that reflects the hope and togetherness we need. Thank you.

  19. Your soap is beautiful as always but this one I believe is your greatest master piece and the message at the end, very touching. During these trying times, can you find the time to another batch this year to remind people?
