There is lot of music from great old films that remain in your
memory even if you have never seen the movie. Henry Mancini’s
“I Girasoli” is one of them. However, the film music of that
time used a lavish amount of instrumentation, and even if you
take the trouble to arrange the music for a guitar solo, you
will most likely be disappointed if you’ve heard the original.
The exception to this is ““Romance d’amour”,” which was made
with only one guitar due to a lack of budget. However, “I Girasoli”
is such a great song that I gave up on the extravagance of the
original and arranged it as a guitar solo.
昔の映画音楽には、映画を見たことがなくても記憶に残る名曲がたくさんあります。
ヘンリー・マンシーニの「ひまわり」もそんな１曲です。
ただ当時の映画音楽は楽器編成も贅沢に使われていて、苦労してギターソロに編曲しても原曲を聞くとがっかりというものがほとんどなのです。予算がなくギター１本になったという「禁じられた遊び」は例外です。
しかし「ひまわり」のあまりの名曲さに、転調も豪華さも諦めてギターソロに編曲しました。

From this time on, I will be recording myself at my home. I bought
the equipment in a hurry and recorded this while reading the manual,
but the result was good. The sound quality is not as good as Takezo’s,
but it is good enough. I’m going to try my best not to be disappointed
in my own recordings.
今回から自宅で自分で録音することになりました。
慌てて機材を買って、説明書を読みながら録音したわりにはいい出来です。
今まで録音して頂いていた竹蔵さんの音質には程遠いですが、
自分でがっかりしない程度までは頑張りたいです。

レコーダー（zoom H4n Pro、安いし、いいマイク使えるし、持ち運び出来ます)
ヘッドホン(ATHーM50ｘ、自分的には最高級品）
マイクスタンド（TAMA MS205、これは最高級品×２本）
チューナー（YTC５）
あと撮影用三脚です。
