Somewhere along the line I stopped doing what I wanted to do and started doing what &#8220;content creators&#8221; were supposed to do. It stopped being a hobby for a while and even became a full time job. <\/p>\n<p>I don&#8217;t think I&#8217;m the kind of person who should turn their hobby into a full time job.<\/p>\n<p>More recently I let way too much get to me. Too many copyright claims. Too many people telling me what to do to be successful. Too many hours wasted due to decision fatigue.<\/p>\n<p>This is a reset. I&#8217;m leaving the YouTube content up because a lot of folks still find value in it, especially the DQX videos. I got rid of my Patreon, the longer I went between meaningful content the more guilt I felt over having it. YouTube and Twitch as platforms are too morally bankrupt for me to want to continue making content for.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m moving to Odysee\/LBRY<br \/>\nhttps:\/\/odysee.com\/$\/invite\/@TheQuester%27sRest:b<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m refocusing on Dragon Quest. There will be no video schedule. I&#8217;ll post when I post, but those videos will have something that attracted so many of you to my channel over the years. Honesty. I&#8217;m not a &#8220;content creator&#8221; or an &#8220;influencer&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m a hobbyist who loves Dragon Quest and wants to share his love of this magical series with others. I&#8217;m sorry I let it get away from me.
