KTC kindly provided us with their new gaming monitor, the H25X, which I&#8217;ll be introducing and reviewing. It boasts a wide range of connectivity options and an incredibly high refresh rate, making it a truly gamer-focused product. If you&#8217;ve been looking for a gaming monitor, be sure to check it out. Let&#8217;s start with some basic information about the product. The H25X7 is a new gaming-focused monitor released in August 2025 by KTC, a developer of various display devices . It measures 24.5 inches, boasts a full HD resolution of 1920&#215;1080 , and features a fast IPS panel for an immersive experience. This fast IPS panel offers a fast response time, allowing for smooth display of fast-moving images and fast-paced games . It also boasts deep blacks and vibrant colors, making it a truly impressive panel with high-speed auto mode. The image quality is incredibly vivid, with no afterimages, allowing for incredibly smooth gameplay. The console&#8217;s most notable feature is its high refresh rate. It supports 360Hz natively, and when overclocked, it can reach up to 400Hz for unparalleled smoothness. Even a moment&#8217;s delay can make the difference between victory and defeat. This gaming monitor feels perfectly suited for competitive games like FPS and TPS. 360Hz is an impressive figure. However, consoles like the Xbox Series X and S, PS5, and Switch 2 only support a maximum of 120Hz, so these native 360Hz and maximum 400Hz figures are only applicable when used with a gaming PC . Next, let&#8217;s look at the accessories. This product comes with a Japanese instruction manual, power adapter, power cord, DisplayPort cable, and a Phillips screwdriver . It also comes with a base. The monitor itself comes with a stand, as shown here. If you want to use it with a base, simply secure the base with the screws. Of course, you can also mount the display on a monitor arm using the , in which case you&#8217;ll need to remove the stand with a screwdriver. I use it with Monitor Arm A , but when connecting Base A, the angle can be adjusted from -5\u00b0 to 15\u00b0 . Next, let&#8217;s talk about the connection ports. All of the ports are located on the rear of the monitor . There&#8217;s a power port, one USB-A port, two HDMI 2.0 ports, two DisplayPort 1.4 ports, and one 3.5mm headphone jack . Along with the HDMI DisplayPort, two ports are included, allowing for simultaneous connection of multiple devices. While the DisplayPort supports a maximum of 400Hz with a 360Hz overclock , the HDMI port only supports a maximum of 240Hz. As mentioned earlier, the maximum 400Hz speed is only possible when connecting a gaming PC to the DisplayPort. There are no buttons on the display, power, or up\/down\/side\/side; the only button is located in the center of the rear panel. Pressing this button not only turns the monitor on and off, but also acts as a small stick that controls up\/down\/left\/right . This small stick allows you to adjust various monitor settings . At first, I was a little put off by the single button, but once I got used to it, I found it actually easier to use, since I wouldn&#8217;t accidentally press the wrong button . I think the single button operation is actually a good design feature, especially since the console is located on the back, which is essentially hidden from view. The console doesn&#8217;t have a built-in speaker, so you can&#8217;t play sound from the monitor alone. You &#8216;ll need a bed, a speaker with built-in speakers, or headphones or earphones . Next, I&#8217;ll show you some actual gameplay footage. Since I primarily play on Xbox, I connected the Xbox Series X via an HDMI cable. The 24.5-inch size feels just right for playing at a desk. Previously, I&#8217;d been using a standard 21.5-inch monitor, not specifically for gaming, but compared to that, gameplay is noticeably smoother, and the images look incredibly vibrant and beautiful. While colors on my previous monitors tended to be a bit dull, the H25X7 offers a much richer display, which I&#8217;m very satisfied with. Although this is a gaming-focused monitor , I feel it&#8217;s an excellent product that can be used for video viewing and editing as well . Finally, I&#8217;ll give you a summary and introduce the price and retailer. The most appealing feature of this product is its high 360Hz refresh rate, allowing you to enjoy the vivid, beautiful images of the official Gokou Festival. It also has a wide range of connectivity options, including two HDMI 2.0 ports and two DisplayPort 1.4 ports, making it easy to access settings using the rear buttons. Another plus is the three-year warranty. One thing to note is that while it boasts a high refresh rate in FHD, it &#8216;s better suited to 4K resolution. As mentioned earlier , this monitor is ideal for playing high-resolution games like FPS and e-sports titles .
