I’ve seen a lot of combat showcases for this game, but by far yours takes the cake. This is some of the most fluid and aesthetically pleasing combat that I’ve seen in Ghost of Tsushima. I’ve been playing Lethal difficulty for a while now and I’m still nowhere near as fast or as decisive as this.
Everything from how carefully you space yourself from enemies to how you take them down. And being able to not only switch through stances really fast, but also mid-fight, while making some sick looking combinations. Half the time I get one-tapped while trying to switch to another stance.
Not to mention how most of your combat is solely just the stances and good hand-eye coordination instead of relying on the special attacks.
I don’t know how many times I’ve seen “flawless duel” videos where the majority of the duel is someone spamming Dance of Wrath or Heavenly strike. I always felt that, since enemies in the game can’t use these techniques or something of an equivalent, that it’s basically a cheat to use them. That spamming the specials makes it too easy.
I like the feeling of winning a duel when I know it was because of my own merit and not because of a move that can one-tap most enemies. And you really demonstrate that really well by taking down hordes of mongols while barely touching any of the specials, likewise with your duels.
