No. Guys DO NOT BUY MODS. This is where it starts. Companies are gonna start making sure they put little effort in making games in order for the modding community to do their job. These gaming companies need to stop being lazy and if they feel so strongly about modders why not HIRE MODDERS???
Bethesda is screwed and they know it and it’s their own fault sense 2012 it’s been a downward spiral not to mention the 9 rereleases of Skyrim honestly it’s a matter of time before they need to reform period because if this keeps up Bethesda will get the volition treatment
Sounds like more reason not to buy creations. Bethesda deserves to get shut down. And if they do, maybe their IPs will be picked up by somebody that’ll treat them with respect.
Definitely agree though, if Bethesda refuses to make choices they know will print money like remasters or new games, and Microsoft will shut them down of they aren't printing money, then they probably deserve it at this point. The only shame is it isn't the employees fault, it's always executives
I don’t care either way cause there’s Nexus, I just feel like Microsoft is shooting themselves in the foot by shutting down studios that make them a bunch of money and keeping the ones that don’t. Like, is there some behind the scenes shit we aren’t privy to and ‘money problems’ is just an easy excuse to sell? Or is it really that simple? At this point, and I don’t know what all Microsoft owns, I just feel like they have some sort of connection in the less successful companies and they can’t afford to drop them even if it would be smarter to do so. Like do the CEOs of these smaller companies have shares in Microsoft or some shit? Is that why the better studios are getting the boot instead of them?
Funny thing, read the TOS. all mods are property of Bethesda under it. So you CANNOT make ANY money from making mods except through their creation system. If you have a donation or sub attached they can sue and take it all. This is why its hilarious that people think its a cash grab, they are literally just giving a 100 percent legal means for mod makers to make money off their work.
Who cares about mods for Skyrim give me my remastered games like oblivion and Morrowind literally just give them a little love and give us those great releases
