Whats cool about this fight is that it's a group fight that is self balancing in a way that the other group fights (The Gargoyles, 4 Kings, etc.) weren't.
It can be a 3 on 1, or a 2 on 2, depending on positioning. You just keep an eye on where the corrupted one is and avoid him, and he becomes your unwitting teammate in the first phase, which is such an amazing concept for a fight
Then in Phase 2 you get the actual 1 on 1 duel, so you get the best of both worlds which is what makes this easily one of my favorite bosses in the series
And thats besides all the other cool stuff, like the environmental storytelling (the Darkwraith scum lurking around outside, it basically looking like Oolacile to evoke that feeling of being near Artorias), the incredible boss theme, and the really cool moveset of the Watchers themselves.

One of the best bosses in any game, PERIOD!
i died 5 times in a row rn bcs its my first playthrough and im starting to feel sht so i need to watch

Better Boss than any Elden Ring boss

fighting this boss at like 15 fps makes me want to off myself. i beat it before and had my pc reformatted so here i am again a year later.
