These games really shine once you understand the story behind every enemy you fight and every place you visit. Would really recommend you to look up some lore videos once you're done with Dark Souls

Am I crazy? I could have sworn you posted the first video on this series months ago and I was beginning to wonder where the rest of it was.
The interesting thing about the every souls game's intro cutscene is that it makes no sense to a first time player. But to someone who has played the game before, it is clear as day, a recounting of the events that lead to the start of the game. (aside from DS2, that one is complete gibberish)

Ohhhhh boy, you are in for a wild ride my friend. Here is a good tip. If you want to know a lot about the lore and backstory, read the description of each item you pick up, you can do so by hovering over it in your inventory and pressing X or Square, depending on what your playing it on. It makes the experience even better when you get an idea of the backstory.
