I was born and raised in Normandy, and it amazes me how a lot of movies/games never get the scenery right (types of greenery & trees wildlife). This doesn’t look like Normandy at all.
So blend as always, call of duty has been using the same animations for a hundred years. The gameplay is so boring compared to battlefield. They just upgrade the graphics, but soon enough they gonna have to start copying games like battlefield just to survive.
This game is a failure of game design – the entire battlefield is a corridor fenced off with walls. It is especially noticeable when they move towards the front line. Tanks are driving along a narrow corridor. Tanks literally take 3 minutes to travel. It feels like the deployment line is 500 meters from the front line. Yes of course it is so "realistic."
Call of Duty 1, United Offensive, 2, 4, and Modern Warfare 2 did a better job of grounding you as one cog in the machine which made the games feel very immersive while in other Call of Duty games you feel like the main character and hero saving the day which takes me out of it all.
