Yuri Watanabe was one of Spider-Man’s closest allies in the original Marvel Spider-Man game, but in the city that never sleeps DLC, her villain arc began. After suffering through multiple deaths to her men at the hand of Hammerhead, she started to go a little crazy and nearly killed the Maggia boss in cold blood. She decides to take justice into her own hands and has taken on her vigilante alias from the comic, Wraith.

Oh man its such a shame that they didnt do her arc better. They should have had the law fail her a lot more in the main game so this wouldnt seem like an instant snap. We needed more deterioration of her hope in the main game so her change would feel more impactful.
It’d make sense for Yuri to be in the 3rd game. She started 1048 Spidey’s journey so it’d make sense that she’d close it

Actually yuri did succeed in killing hammerhead, but (atleast i think is what went down) due to the fact that he had that armor and he was willing to become less human it was easy for him to come back since he basically became a cyborg

That dlc from the first game really took a turn in the story what Yuri is concerned. I can't imagine how much of a surprised Pikachu face anyone who hasnt played the dlc will get, when they suddenly see her as an enemy of Spiderman in the second game.
I'm sorry but it's too soon for her to come back. She needs to disappear from the limelight until the end of the third game. That'd bring her story full circle

Will*, and even still not a real villain. Yuri is gonna become a Spider-Man antagonist as well as something like an anti-hero. Kill those who she deems deserves it as justice, something Spider-Man’s morals are vehemently against.

Yuri isn’t a villain she’s an anti hero, it’s really cool in the comics how she uses chameleon and mysterios tech, sure she’ll probably, be a villain because you gotta fight her (possibly as a side boss In the game) technically speaking she isn’t a villain at all.

I reckon yuri should be side quest, a bit like tombstone was in the first game, if not that then she should be a separate dlc
I’m hoping she’ll be in a side mission like Taskmaster or a DLC like Hammerhead. Speaking of Taskmaster I’m hoping they’ll bring him back as a side character again cause fighting him was kinda fun.

Not a villain. In the comics, she's a vigilante like The Punisher. So, since this game is pretty accurate in portraying the characteristics,I'd ssy she's not gonna be a villain. She'll be a vigilante named Wraith.
she didn't nearly kill hammerhead. she did kill him. you can see him being brought back to life at the end.
