One of these days, there needs to be a “Nuke the Xenomorphs from orbit” option in these games. It’s the only way to be sure. Xenomorph Queen is still my favorite Disney Princess.

Impressive commitment to the bit for Sega to make a 20 hour game when the Alien begins ruthlessly bullying you and giving you relentless swirlies, noogies, and purple nurples before the 4th hour. Selen may never fully recover from this.
this game is faithful to the old atmosphere of Alien 1 movie as a game so as an alien fan I cannot miss any reaction from Selen to this game!

Alien Isolation still holds up so well, it came out in 2014, and it still looks good. Just a reminder, Gollum came out last month 2023. So umm…… yeah.

Rip Axel, didn't even get to have a proper Holostars graduation.
I can't believe I was so excited I passed out an hour before the steam. And then woke up 3 hours later ! I missed out big time on so prime chances to teas… I mean make the funny and help Selen as she is dam near losing her mind to raw panic and confusion (Selen be like: [] lol =P), at least more than usual . The VOD was still super fun regardless . See you next time!! .

I don't know if you'll see this comment or not, but maybe others can agree on it and bring it up in later streams.
When a game offers gamma calibration, I think it might be a good idea to check with chat since what we see on stream is different from your monitor. Your gamma calibration was far below what was barely visible to me for example, so the game ends up a lot darker than it needs to be.
As a bonus, if the gamma calibration is higher for the sake of chat, you get to play a scary game that is not so dark for you while still being dark enough for chat.
The first few hours of Alien Isolation are some of the best hours of horror I've ever had. The game lingers a little too long for that magic to not diminish but the first stretch is phenomenal.
I wonder why she's bothered by this but not by Dead Space.

Something satisfying about watching this while listening to classical music, I just be having this on while playing war thunder and hearing 16 Waltzes Op39 as Selen is getting absolutely obliterated by scary alien man. Love the stream!
She does know that the game picks up your mic feed right, so every time she makes noise it’s heard in game.
Selen playing horror games is always a Treat
Some tips for players who are inspired to also play this game:
0. Absolutely do! This is the best horror game ever (in my opinion) and deserves to be on the "list of games you must have played"
1. Running is basically suicide. If the alien is around it WILL hear you and it WILL come for you. Also it runs faster than you. (That being said the amount of times Selen ran to a locker and her pursuers didn't connect the sounds of her footsteps to her hiding location is staggering.)
2. Selen missed a lot of crafting recipes in this stream. Don't do that. You can craft lots of useful gadgets that you can throw in some corner to lure enemies away from where you need to go. Flares also magically attract enemies, no matter if they should be able to see them or not.
3. You can lock most doors in the hospital temporarily by pressing the button next to them.
Also this stream reminds me of my first playthrough of this game. I was also perma-crouched, but I avoided lockers because they have those slits at eye level. I always hid under desks and beds.
