Ghost of Tsushima was released in 2020 and became one of my favorite games of all time. It’s all I ever wanted from Assassin’s Creed. So now that Assassin’s Creed Codename Red has been announced and is taking place in the Feudal Japan setting. It’s inevitable that it’ll be compared to Ghost of Tsushima, so can it be a better game?

  1. SP not only gave us the feudal Japan AC we always wanted, they also gave us a much better story than Ubi has been ablo to do for a few years now.

  2. Do you have a storyline video for the entire AC storyline (past and present day) and if not, could you (or more likely one of my fellow viewers) recommend a good video about 20-60 minutes long?

  3. Master assassin could u think about doing an yakuza game review or even sleeping dog if your not into dose game that okay

  4. RPG fans don't like new era assassins creed games because they're not really RPG.
Assassins Creed fans don't like new wave games because they're not assassins creed.
Action combo junkies don't like new skool AC because it's nowhere near the best action games.
Ubisoft need to pick a genre and go all in.

  5. Man I think if Ubisoft Quebec is making it so the world of AC Red will be beautiful because Odyssey and Immortal's world are very detailed and beautiful.

  6. The main thing I want for Red is for it to explore the Japanese Brotherhood of Assassins. I did some research and found out there’s actually A LOT of history on the Japanese assassins, but it was primarily shown on a mobile card game that no longer exists 🙁

If you guys wanna learn more about it check out the AC Wiki, it’s some really good writing, and a great opportunity for Ubi to expand on 😉

  7. Ghost really did (and still does) scratch that Assassin itch…even it's multiplayer is phenomenal! Ubisoft needs to be bolder in the way they design their games. Not sure if it's even fair to compare them in this post-Ghost world

  8. I just hope that we can have an option where we follow the linear canon story. That way, story enjoyers like me can play it like ac origins while other players who like to play with freedom like dialogue choices in ac games can also play it as such. Or they could have slightly different changes in the story if you choose a male character(shinobi) or female (kunoichi).

  9. I don’t have much faith in this at all. But I’m a sucker , I continually buy the latest Ubisoft games and sometimes pre order them… I haven’t been happy in years. Valhalla and Legion was probably my breaking point , I guess we will see. Far cry 6 was marginally better than average.

  10. An idea for a new Assassin's creed related video, you should rank every mainline DLC Expansion in the Assassin's creed franchise from least to best including the recent RPG trilogy

  11. Ghost of Tsushima is like a bad version of Assassins Creed. I was really bored playing Ghost of Tsushima. The worst thing Red could do was trying to be like Ghost of Boring Tsushima.

  12. Even if the gameplay was on that level—which it definitely won’t be—the story has no chance whatsoever.

  13. I’d like to see a setting similar to the last samurai, where imperial Japan wants to industrialise, while traditional samurai clans want to keep tradition and fight against industrialisation. Maybe the assassins would back the clans, while the templars support the imperial Japanese army as well as the Americans who helped Japan in its path to industrialisation. And of course, we’d play as a member of one of these clans sent undercover to Tokyo to undermine Templar influence. Also, I think imperial-era Tokyo could be a really good open world.

  14. Ghost of Tsushima is my 2nd favorite game ever. (First is breath of the wild) in my opinion, assassins creed can never get close to Ghost of Tsushima

  15. I have never played ghost of tsushima since I have no PS5/4. I hope it releases on PC as well.

  16. If they really are going to keep the RPG elements for this game, then it’s a straight NO.

  17. Well, at least he has a proper hidden blade. Even though it's an RPG, MAYBE it will focus on the assassins!

  18. I wanna see how Ubisoft will feel when Assassin's Creed Mirage will blow up and Assassin's Creed Red will be at the bottom of the rest of their in progress assassin's creed games.. in fact I believe Codename Jade will be above Red since a lot of mobile gamers would love a pocket edition of a full assassin's creed game and not another AC Identity or, the other goofy funcopop looking ahh strategy game

  19. The next years are the do or die for Ubisoft. It will showcase if they are resilient enough to make the shift to a once respected company.

  20. ï really hope for tsushima to come to pc, really looks like what modern AC should have been

  21. the thing is AC games has a really wonderful world and map which is alive with beautiful visuals and also the soundtrack is often great but where it fails to deliver is often the acting and cutscenes dont feel that intresting and the story is often mediocore….they dont have the quality like the games like Got, RDR or GOW like any of these big games…i just think they need to step up their story and make it much more polished cuz none of the recent AC games ever left that wanting more feeling in my heart like the other games do….idk if what i say makes any sense cuz its hard for me to frame my feelings into a sentence lol but thats jst my personal opinion

  22. Not in a million years. Ac will just have an amazing cinematic trailer and the game itself will be super mediocre in every respect, just like every single AC game. Buying Ubisoft games is a waste of money and time…

  23. I wouldn’t get my hopes up for anything Ubisoft has on the horizon. I say this based on the multiple times I’ve purchased their latest version of AC only to realize it could have been great if it wasn’t rushed for the sake of investor demands. I think they repeat previous mistakes and never truly understand what we as gamers expect. Monetizing every aspect of their releases further alienates me from any realistic dream that they can turn things around.

  24. Now we just need Sucker Punch to release a ninja based game after RoR and Assassin's Creed will crumble to it's death

  25. GoT could be better, but it's that good AC could still be a great game that's not quiet is good. No problem with that

  26. I think the best thing for red to do is to go in a completely different direction to Ghost. I think it should be focussed on a city, during the Meiji Restoration in the late 1800s. That means you can bring a whole american side into it to make it more interesting. (I know this won't happen because it's a ubisoft rpg but a guy can dream)

  27. Nope never! I have only watched GOT game play and I can say best game ever created in history of all games. Can’t and won’t change my mind.

  28. I don't think present day ubisoft could beat the glory that is Ghost.

  29. Ghost of Tsushima is extremely overrated, it’s a video game filled with flaws so it wouldn’t be too hard for Codename Red to be better.
