Nah, I disagree. Tobey Maguire isn’t the best Spider-Man, most of the people that say that doesn’t even know the character and are just nostalgic. Hell, my uncle and cousins never read anything about the character and loves Tobey and I know many more people that their introduction to the character was with Tobey hence why people think he is the best.
Tom Holland is the only one out of the three that is perfect as both as Peter Parker and Spider-Man. Holland is able to harness the same energy when it comes to being Peter as well as Spiderman. Neither Maguire or Garfield were quite able to capture both sides of the webhead. They played Peter or Spider-Man but never did it feel like they were playing Peter as Spiderman or Spider-Man as Peter. They lacked cohesion with the two sides of the character. That is why Holland is the best portrayal of Spider-Man. He perfectly embodies the awkwardness and wit of Peter Parker and the quippiness and confidence of Spider-Man. Unlike the others, he is good in both fields. He is also the only one that looks age appropriate.
THAT being said. When it comes down to one of the core aspects of Spider-Man: responsibility, I’d say Tobey Maguire wins. They perfectly captured on SM1 and SM2, with Holland in NWH is when the core aspect of responsibility felt the most, now that he is 18 and knows what responsibility means we will see if they are able to match the responsibility aspect of the first Tobey’s movies but as the character Tom Holland is easily the best one and he also has given us the best acted scenes while Tobey didn’t had good acting. Andrew is by far the best actor out of the three but sadly he had the worse scripts so not his fault, he is an Oscar-Emmy worthy actor but yeah…Holland is the strongest Spider-Man, most durable, has the best spider senses, smartest, has the most comic accurate suit, so basically everything. Holland is Spider-Man.
Yuri Lowenthal nailed it. He is the perfect voice actor for Spider man and as Peter

The game is great, really fun to play, my only criticism is the redesign of Peter from the ps4 version to the ps5 version, apart from that, it's a great game

As a long time spidey fan, this game felt like a love letter to Spider-Man. It's so much fun and I am glad you are enjoying it! Also, please don't feel you have to shelve games you really want to play for your viewers- the best games to watch you play are the ones you really enjoy! So it's always okay to tell us that you are playing what YOU want and we can go kiss a fluffy dog if we don't like it.

Hey there, It is good to see you playing again so soon. I voted for you to make a let's play of Ghost of Tsushima but this game is also a stelar good time. The combat is intuitive and fun, the story is well thought out and there are tons of Marvel references sprikled everywhere you look which makes it even more sweet to play through. I might just drop in and bust some amazing tips and hints like I did during the GOW playthrough, I can stop if you find it annoying. Anyways:
– Peter has been Spider-man for well over eight years during this game timeline, you can expect to see many villains and refferences to spidey's past adventures brought stright from the comics and television series, however, this game occupies its own timeline in the spiderverse. Something to have in mind.
– You picked up the 'stunned' and 'webbed' enemies guimick pretty fast, keep that in mind for future battle encounters. Pressing L1+R1 to yank enviromental cues to bok an enemy is a great way to keep the combat flow going and you can do it on the ground and in mid-air. Many set pieces will show up that can stun a group of enemies all at once if you position yourself just right like a junction box by the wall or a precarious scafolding by the corner, make use of them.

1:16:30 Heads up, don't be afraid of those prompts. If you press them, Spider-Man will give the citizen a high five or take a selfie with them or stuff like that.
This actually applies in general to being on the ground. Go ahead! Walk up to civilians and try to punch them. You won't. You'll just give them waves and finger guns and stuff like that. This game really took some extra steps to solidify Spider-Man as a hero of the people and I love it.

And the side missions are mostly short and fun, the big time suck will be when you just decide to swing around the city for 2 straight hours!

Glad you're enjoying the game so far!! Had a feeling it was up your alley, but after hearing how big of a Spider-Man fan you are yeah you're definitely gonna have a blast with this haha. Everything about it is incredible, such a fun take of a Spidey 8 years into his run. No starting at his origin is a breath of fresh air. Always love seeing people see Octavius for the first time, that moment of "oh this is where we're going" is great haha. Can't wait to see more of this from ya!
