She's making the same mistake as my mother, panic spamming for attacks rather than pressing in order after each attack;she just quequeing actions that stop her from defending herself
Never parry when u can just kill em just forget about the useless mechanic I never cared about it and played thru all the games whitout even once using parry

Her reactions and positioning are pretty good. The roll directions need work. With how competent she is and her lack of raging, she can beat DS1 easy. Worst part for her will be bed, unless she gets lucky and 1 shots.
bro im playing dark souls for the 1st time too and is my 1st souls game too. Is funny how now that i beat those bosses is funny but in that moment i was raging so much, I didnt got the gargoyle tale 🙁

Demon statues are actually easy af when you block with 100% physical shield. Just hold the shield up and run around it body to body and wait for the window to strike. Repeat till it's dead.
No way Elden Ring is harder than Dark Souls with all those Spirit Ashes that can literally solo bosses for you while you starfish gesture in the middle of the boss room.
Buffing, 2-handing and rolling clearly beats 1-handing and blocking against this boss at least.
I am so grateful that Asmon tried DS1 back in 2018. Before I was always a bit hesitant if these type of games were for me. Asmon gave me the courage to try it and not be afraid to fail. 4 years later I have beaten ALL the FromSoftware games and still replay the games from time to time.

Capra Demon beat my ass in for days. I found about the stairs tactic and it still didn't help. Those fkn dogs would hold me up just long enough for him to go ape on me.
Capra demon is a boss I won't forget because of it. Now I'm traumatized and freeze up when I fight him 😂
