As we push through the palace, we come across some murals that give us some insight as to what Futaba went through in her past that resulted in her corrupt heart.

11:28 Okay someone needs to make an animatic of that or something, that was adorable
I wonder if they remember they can swap people on Joker's turn, though it would've been risky to bring Ann in on the Will Seed fight since she's weak to ice.
Support skills are amazing and I don't think you could ever go wrong with what you did. The best part about Persona is that you have so much freedom to build your personas how you want to because of the skill card system in place as well. You guys are rocking it with the fusions and the alarms just makes them so much more powerful.
I think Futaba's sin is wrath is because of her self loathing and desire to die.
Wrath is described as extreme anger and is considered a deadly sin if someone acts on it towards the innocent. Futaba is punishing herself for something that wasn't her fault
56:25 Narrator's voice: He did, in fact, jinx it.
It's like the universe conspire against Evan every time he says things will be okay.
Every Will Seed in every single Palace is obtainable before you send the Calling Card. In other words, you missed something you could’ve dealt with now. I’m saying this now, because you had the same thought when you were in Madarame’s Palace. Thankfully, you’ll be able to get the last Will Seed during the day you send the Calling Card. Just be sure to get it before you steal the treasure.
Double-checking your surroundings is welcome in the Metaverse.
you can already get that will seed. The game never requires you to backtrack after doing something later on in the palace to collect them, also you should have replaced zio with shock boost. There is no point in you having low-tier magic spells at this point
”For Real” Counter : 109
Today : 0 :(((
And the curse of "Refusing to rotate the screen where you need to" strikes again. First it was the button on the wall in Madarame's palace, now it's the path that starts unlocking the red door.
10:16 At about there instead of going right on the boulders go left and there will be a slab for unlocking the WILL SEED & the Red Door that you missed.
Also at 1:04:46 you also missed looking to your left again for it.
I suppose you did record ahead of time and I hope you guys either looked it up or found the last will seed!
Ngl it pains to see what skill you get rid of and which you keep. I hope it won't kick you in the butt later on
55:35 Weren't showtime attacks supposed to trigger when the enemy has low HP?
58:30 Weird camera angle but aight. I like seeing things from a different "perspective"
Making a Persona with support skills is actually a pretty good idea in this game. Buffing and debuffing are always a good idea in a MegaTen game. The only thing I would really criticize you for is not making use of all your party members. Ann, for example, can inflict Sleep on enemies, which allows you to score an easy technical and possibly knock them down. It's a solid strategy for dealing with shadows like Anubis.
The Palace run continues… And Evan continues give Ali heart attacks.
Fun fact: Bufudyne is the 3rd tier Ice spell. So look forward to that.
Treasure demons are only useful as fusion ingredients, there's no point re-recruiting the same one as they cannot be used in battle. Once, e.g., stone of scone has been registered, you're supposed to defeat subsequent encounters to literally hit a jackpot.
Bud you gotta start attempting things instead of just assuming that things are a certain way
You know, if you want to save sp so bad, you can use basic attack…
About the last will seed, you already have all you need to take it, you just forgot you knew how.
did you forget that thanks to hifumi you can change party members in combat
53:48 And here I thought he was going to revive Morgana when Evan switched to Phoenix. Oh well.
Also, fun fact: Al-Lat (اللات in Arabic) is a pre-Islamic Arab goddess. Hence the "false god" moniker, since she was one of the idols Muhammad was preaching against.
Another episode where Ali continues to be the voice of reason.
1:04:30 As I recall, the clue that shows how to open that particular door was something you read in the previous episode and probably forgot.
This makes me sad, yet is needed I feel.
I think I just need to accept that Evan will never revive dead characters. They get ZERO exp when they die and can end up being way behind and therefore way weaker than the rest of the characters but…Evan Is too much of a hoarder i guess.
I think the Persuasion Check failed, but you managed to Save using Will (ironically, given what you got immediately after as a reward) in the fight with the "Decadent False God". That thing was tanky! Eesh. Good work committing it to the earth; it took a lot of doing, but was definitely worth it.

One of your items was used in case you still didn’t figure it out.
It is really sad about Futaba's thoughts on her memories of her Mother, but don't forget what Sojiro told us about Wakaba & Futata's relationship. Especially with the picture when "Futaba's mom" scolded her. I still very sad and still tear up for Futaba. She really needs many hugs and headpats. 😢
I completely understand Ali's frustration with Evan's decisions sometimes. Always making things harder than they need to be. Your hoarding is so hilarious because you probably will never use those items by the end of the game. I hope you do visit Takemi at some point though and get those SP Adhesives they are so OP because you will never run out of SP. Trust me I have 99 of the SP items from the vending machines cause I never have to use them anymore.
Dude you really don't need to keep those first tier spells anymore, and USE YOUR PHYSICAL SKILLS yes they take a bite out of your hp but they also do a huge amount of damage to the enemy. So long as you stay healed the risk is very low.
One thing you should try to remember is that unless the game explicitly stops you any puzzle can be solved as you find it without needing to backtrack.
At this point of the game, it's best to utilize the Buff Skills you have been neglecting for a long while. Persona Players will always tell you that it's all about Buffing and Debuffing in battles, especially with Bosses. Otherwise, you'll be making it harder on yourself. A "Defense All" at the start of battle will save you the headache
Ali: Poor Fox
Morgana: Dead
Fun Fact: Morgana have the lowest endurance stat, that is the reason why he dies in one hit, while the others survive (barely)
…wait did. Did you not do the sarcophagus puzzles in the ball-puzzle back room at all??? (That's how you unlock the door to the Will Seed. It wouldn't have occurred to me that they were completely skippable in Royal; in original P5 they were required to create the path out.)
7 Deadly Sins on Persona 5:
1. Kamoshida = Lust ( Complete )
2. Madarame = Vanity ( Complete )
3. Kaneshiro = Gluttony ( Complete )
4. Futaba = Wrath
Poor Futaba… If someone needs to hug her! I WILL BE THERE FOR HER!
36:35 That's the power of Flow + Baton Pass! Flow (a skill you got from Maruki's Confidant) gives a free Concentrate (next magic attack deals over x2 damage) and a free Charge (next physical or gun attack deals over x2 damage) to Joker at the start of the battle. Add to that the damage multiplier than a Baton Pass gives you, and you can easily one-shot a good number of enemies.
39:25 You have an item called a Homunculus in your inventory. It protects against insta-kill attacks once. (The game will tell you one is used. It'll say "The Homunculus sacrificed itself!" if one is used to protect against an insta-kill attack.) The item is consumed if it protects against an insta-kill attack. So, for example, if you have 5 Homunculuses (Homunculi?) in your inventory, during a single battle, an enemy uses an insta-kill attack against you and your teammates six different times, the Homunculuses will protect against the first five times, but you're on your own for the sixth time, and you'll be out of Homunculuses until you get more.
In general, unless the game tells you otherwise, every puzzle (such as how to unlock the Will Seed door) is immediately solvable, and the solution is in or very near to the room where the puzzle is. Will Seeds in particular are always obtainable in the same order (red, green, blue). So, if you obtain the green Will Seed before the red one, you know you missed one somewhere behind you.
Evan saying "it's fine" Is the equivalent of Cuphead saying "I ain't too worried about."
I will not say why, but to ensure you don't have to endure agony and a half and even have to lower the difficulty, make SURE YOU MAXIMIZE DAMAGE OUTPUT AND ACCURACY in any way you can! Seriously, if you don't, Evan will lose 50 years of his life in pain from something later.
you guys keep pronouncing mapsi like “map-see”. its pronounced “mah-psy” because its an all-target psychic move. the single psychic attack is called psi. you dont say ”psee” do you LOL
By the way, I forgot to do this the first time you guys saw Skull and Fox's Showtime. In English, it's called Inglorious Beefbowls and is a reference to Inglorious Basterds. In Japanese, it's called "That Man did this for a Beef Bowl" and is a reference to Violent Cop. The Japanese name for the movie "Violent Cop" is, literally translated, "That Man, Being Violent".
That's the second time he has overlooked something for the will seed. Curious if there'll be a third.
You guys know you haven't gotten the Baboon as a Persona yet, yes?
The way to get that will seed I believe has to do with the slab that you never read beside the button.
This palace keeps hitting harder as you learn about Wakaba, Futaba, and Sojiro. I feel so bad for Futaba.
Check the hallway with the boulders again!!!!
I have one thing to say an it’s BOIOIOIOIOIOIO
Don't mind me just yelling
SOMETHING!
47:51 damb.. monka
55:35 HELL YEAH
56:40 o god
