It was hinted at in the DF video that because it's set during the winter, having less foliage (no leaves) is possibly at least part of the explanation why it's running better than the other Spider-man game.

Have you tried the optimization tool (more of a script) by CryoByte33? It seems to provide a decent bump on performance
The fact that GPU and CPU almost are alwats reaching 85/90°, Could this something be able to damage the Steam deck by the time ??
I am concerned about the high temperature It gets most time ahile playing miles morales, as well as Spiderman remastered does.

The game looks great running on the Steam Deck.
Set the refresh rate to 40 set the limit to 40 and the target dynamic resolution for fsr to 45. Smooth gameplay that feels like 60fps. This also works for how and almost every game I’ve tried so far in the past week of having the deck 😊

I’ve been having nothing but crash issues with mine. Could it be due to running of SD card?
What is the point of setting framerate to anything other than 30 or 60 fps? AFAIK, the Steam Deck's screen does not support adaptive sync, so the only way to play at non-divisible framerates would be to disable VSYNC and experience tearing.
So it doesn’t harm the steam deck long term if you run a game that uses basically 97% gpu?? It only looks bad because in red I suppose
