We have condensed Persona 5 Royal's entire first palace and story arc into one video. This contains over 18 hours of gameplay, edited into a single video for easier viewing. I'm so happy to see him playing this. I've been wanting to watch a playthrough of a Persona game for a while, and Dan made the Pheonix Wright playthrough amazing, so it's great that he started this. Now the hard part is waiting for the videos because my timing for catching live streams is terrible.
I'm sure excited for this, I stalled on watching lobosjr playing it since it was full vods and am like 16 eps in, but really excited to see you play it RT

Imma be honest idk why but when i heard some of the persona 5 soundtrack on one of dan's streams from years ago i always thought he played it, but seeing he's playing it for the first time instead of replaying it is even better!
I know nothing about Persona, nor have I seen any of it save a clip here and there. Even so, I'm not sure how to feel about RT being my first major exposure to it. Also holy shit we both thought that was Light Yagami.

I don't know anything about this game but I can't help but feel like the first 15 minutes making it seem like the protag fucked up by intervening when he saw a woman in danger and asking for help because "Damn brat, I'll sue!" is kinda fucked up.
Then again this game is beloved so I'm guessing this gets resolved later on.

This is legit one of my favorite game ever. Sure it has its flaws, and can end up being quite a bit intimidating due to its scale and the interactions between the life sim parts and RPG parts, but it simply ends up being such a joy to play through. I love it to bits, along with Persona 4 Golden 🙂
