    DS3 is the most polished game of the saga. But DS2 (SOTFS) is my favorite one of the bunch.

    It's the only one thgivesive you that feeling of a big adventure (Until ER come along. But ER is DS2 2).

    I think I only had a fun time in dark souls 2 because I completely missed the illusionary wall that leads you to the gargoyles and I'm not even sure how I missed it, I used the Pharros Lockstone but for some reason I thought the glowing face was there to light up the room for me

    I don't know why anyone hates DkS2. It is my least favorite souls game due to the weird mechanics and janky shit, but it's still a fucking amazing game. There are no bad souls games.

    Haven't played any of the Dark Souls games, but as far as I can tell by watching some playthroughs, DS2 isn't a bad game, as much as it's worse than the others in the series. When the bar is set so high, a good game can still disappoint a lot of people.
