I have dim memories of James doing a throwback to the original release version of the game, maybe for the 5th anniversary or something?
i was in awe of this demo and the base game once it came out. such simpler times 🥺
I played the demo for YEARS because I couldn't afford the base game but really wanted to play it.
There are actually two wedding clothes (full body outfit) in Sims 3, one with, and one without necklace. I've always used that one when my female sim was about to get married

there's a masc shirt with a broken texture and it's been broken for YEARS but the not-broken version is in the cas demo 😔
I think James Turner did play the 2014 version in a video maybe last year ? You could ask him how he did it !

I went from the sims 2 to the sims 4 so i was blown away by cas in the sims 4.
I never liked the look of sims in the sims 3 so i never got it lol
i had such a good time playing the cas demo at thirteen years old 😭😭
I was so disappointed that I continued to play the sims 3🤣
The dress and legging combo is what a few of my female cousins wore for Christmas Eve one year. They including knee-high and thigh-high boots along with a wide belt to complete the look.

What's the point of these old sims videos?
As someone who’s only ever played the sims 4, I don’t get the hate. I personally really enjoy the game. I do get how it might not match up for those who played the past versions.
I kinda wish there would be more walk options tho
Its kinda fun and would give the sims more personality too

I love how sims is different for us all in ways. The hair option you said you've never used is one that's most nostalgic for me.
