Modern Warfare 2 Multiplayer Remastered has been a dream for a long time and when Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered released in spring of 2020, it was a huge tease to the entire player base. However, while we’ve never seen the officially sanctioned multiplayer for Modern Warfare 2 Remastered, a group of talented individuals in the community have set out to create their vision for Call of Duty. A game based upon Modern Warfare 2 Remastered’s premise, and then some… This is SM2. SM2 is a multiplayer mod for Modern Warfare 2 and looks to introduce over a dozen games worth of content into the Modern Warfare multiplayer offering while upscaling and drastically improving the base of Modern Warfare 2. The SM2 dev team quite literally is building the Modern Warfare 2 Remastered project we’ve always wanted and making it even better than we could have thought for ourselves. Today we’re going to break down their new updates to the game and any and all information we learned as a part of their celebration for reaching 100,000 members of their community waiting patiently for the Modern Warfare 2 Remastered Multiplayer project we’ve all wanted for so long.
