Modern Warfare II is presumed to be the sequel to Modern Warfare 2019 simply because of the fact that it’s the highest grossing Call of Duty title in history, so the natural assumption is that we’ll see a sequel. Industry insiders have been pointing towards this and details for months now and while we’re still 10-11 months out from Modern Warfare II’s launch later this fall, there’s some details that continue to come out that get me more and more intrigued about what’s to come. Infinity Ward has had a solid 3+ years on this project and Modern Warfare II has a lot of high expectations, so can they deliver?
