【ガンダムW最新情報まとめ】神がかったMVと海外で公開された情報を徹底解説考察【新機動戦記ガンダムW】

It was revealed that new developments were being planned for this year, 2025 to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Gundam Wing, and now the new music video has finally been released. In the United States, the “GUNDAM Showcase – Featuring 30 Years of Gundam Wing” event is currently being held. At this event information is being revealed about new Gundam models including the Wing Gundam Zero Cloak Custom. Here’s what we’ll do this time: let’s take a look at and summarize the newly released information about the new Gundam W project. First, the PV features the 30th Anniversary version of the song “Rhythm Emotion.” The original fans were delighted by the numerous homages included. Many people were likely thrilled to see the entire content, including the TV version, Endless Waltz, Glory of the Losers, and even FT, recreated in modern ultra-high quality while still evoking the original style from that time. “When I first watched this PV, I saw the words ‘Mission accepted’ at the end and thought, could it be that Frozen Teardrop is going to be adapted into a video!?” I thought so, but it seems a bit different. The event taking place in San Diego, USA and the information on the official English website have announced the release of a new work that will bridge the gap between Endless Waltz and Frozen Teardrop in the manga series. Furthermore, a portion of the manga’s content is available for preview on the official English website. The content here is titled “Gundam W 0.5: Preventer 7,” and the story depicts the world after the suppression of Mariemaia’s rebellion in Endless Waltz. Based on this information, it seems that each scene appearing in the PV likely includes content from this 0.5 Preventer 7. In “Preventer 7,” set in the world after the Mariemaia Rebellion has ended and the Gundams have been destroyed the story depicts the Gundam pilots living their own lives. Wufei, who chose the path of trusting people joined Preventer under the codename “Wind”. Duo becomes a preventive cloud, like drifting clouds. Quatre, who manages the company as CEO, is a part of Preventer Sand. Trois, who returned to the circus business with Catherine and the others, became Preventer Thunder. Heero, who is with Relena, goes to Preventer Snow. In A.C. 197, the year following Endless Waltz Wufei and Sally were searching for a missing item but couldn’t find it. The ladies in the Sank Kingdom believed that it would be dangerous if the item wasn’t found quickly so they called in the Preventers. The assembly point is “Old 0.5,” so it might be the place where everyone gathers in the PV. Additionally, terrorists have arrived at Relena’s location in the Sank Kingdom leading to a situation where Relena is kidnapped once again. Therefore, it seems that the story of FT will continue from here. The CD scenario “Preventer 5” serves as a prologue to Frozen Teardrop and its story seems to be quite similar to that one. Additionally, during the event in San Diego the name and design sketches of the new machine featured in the PV were revealed in the presentation. The name of this new machine “Wing Gundam Zero Cloak Custom,” has also been announced on Gundam Info. Therefore, the new machines appearing in the latter half of the PV seem to be the Wing Zero Cloak Custom, Deathscythe Hell Cloak Custom, Heavyarms Cloak Custom, Sandrock Cloak Custom and Artron Gundam Cloak Custom. All of the Gundams have a design that looks like they’re wearing cloaks, and at first glance they seem similar to the machines that appear in FT. However, based on the name it might be more accurate to consider them as machines aligned with the content of 0.5 Preventer 7, rather than FT. By the way, it’s suggested that FT’s Snow White has an overall appearance similar to PLUTO Zero with wings resembling those of the Endless Waltz version of Wing Zero. However Wing Zero CC has a white base color scheme similar to Snow White but its forearm armor is the same as the Endless Waltz version of Wing Zero and its wings also have a design similar to the Endless Waltz version of Wing Zero. Therefore, it is believed that underneath the cape it conforms to the Endless Waltz version of Wing Zero. Regarding Deathscythe Hell, the machine equivalent to Deathscythe Hell in FT called “Warlock,” wields two beam scythes, one in each hand. However the Deathscythe Hell Custom that appears in this PV only has one beam scythe. Therefore, it can be described as having a shape more similar to the Endless Waltz version of Deathscythe Hell rather than Warlock. However, since the design of the Warlock has not been revealed it could simply be interpreted as a Warlock with only one beam size. “And at the same time as Deathscythe HellCC, this boy who was briefly shown looks exactly like Duo, but judging from his attire, he is not the Duo from the TV series or Endless Waltz. Instead, he appears to be the pilot of Warlock from Frozen Teardrop, the boy whom Hilde named Duo.” Next, let’s talk about SandrockCC. In the PV, he’s dual-wielding beam machine guns and you can see the same Heat Shotel as Sandrock on his back. However, when I look at the uploaded face the mask shape is exactly that of Scheherazade. One possible consideration here is that Scheherazade’s main weapon is an Arabian-style dagger. However, in terms of the setting Scheherazade was equipped with a Heat Shotel during the prototype phase, and after being rebuilt it was modified to make it the main weapon. Therefore, it is believed that the Sandrock CC appearing in the PV is a prototype machine of Scheherazade. Next, let’s talk about Heavyarms. In the promotional video, the Heavyarms from the Endless Waltz version is holding two army knives, one in each hand. However, I don’t have May’s weapon, the Gatling. In the FT, Prometheus was depicted holding a large heavy machine gun shaped like a cross, but it doesn’t have it. This could also be considered a prototype of Prometheus. Could it be that the Prometheus without the machine guns at this stage is actually the Heavyarms CC? Next, regarding the Artron Gundam. In the first place, in FT, Wufei doesn’t pilot the Altron; instead he becomes the pilot of the Epyon. However, the one in this PV is Artron Gundam CC and the woman next to him is Ryuu Miran. This character does not appear in the TV version, but she is Wufei’s late wife. Ryumeiran, known as the strongest in her clan called herself Nataku. Initially she did not get along with Wufei as they were married solely due to clan customs. However they gradually came to understand each other but she ultimately died protecting the Shenlong Gundam. As a result, there is a background story where Wufei started calling his beloved machine “Nataku,” believing that the spirit of his sister Meilan resides within it. The machine in which Ryumeiran appeared is called the Tallgeese Shiryuu. It has a design similar to the Tallgeese but with a Leo head. In the novel version of Endless Waltz this machine is described as being blue in color. Therefore, it seems that the Artron Gundam CC incorporates blue in its color scheme. The content of this PV, considering the previous material seems to allow us to sense the connections from the TV version to FT and various elements leading up to the new release, Preventer 0.5. The scene that appears at the beginning is the activation of Wing Zero just like in the opening of the anime version. The console hasn’t changed much in terms of the central Zero System display or the control stick but the surrounding instrument displays have been updated. The fact that Heero’s outfit has been changed to the FT version suggests that this is not the traditional Wing Zero, but rather a new machine. At startup, the Zero System is activated which seems to pay homage to the Wing Zero activation scene in Endless Waltz depicting the sequence of pressing various buttons. In Endless Waltz, Heero didn’t activate the Zero System and the button press was actually a command to detach the booster pods from Wing Zero’s transport MS. So if this PV leads into a new installment it could be interpreted that this is a new Wing Zero launching with the Zero System activated and featuring a sequence where it detaches its auxiliary boosters. Gundam Wing is a series that you shouldn’t think too deeply about, so maybe I’m overthinking it. The title logo backdrop featured machines resembling the Wing Gundam and Snow White from the Zero Endless Waltz version giving viewers an understanding of the storyline. The absence of Zechs in the TV version might be because it was difficult to fit a fourth “machine” due to the tempo of the music so they narrowed it down to three machines, possibly representing TV, Endless Waltz, and FT. The title background features the pre-upgrade designs of Deathscythe, Heavyarms, Sandrock and Shenlong from the first half of the TV series. Heero is in the late TV opening style with Wing Gundam in the background. Personally, I prefer the rugged design that captures the feel of the original TV version rather than the sleek style that’s recently become popular for its 3D appeal. It gives off that raw heavy-duty weaponry vibe that I really like. Duo stands there, covered in wounds. Despite having a cheerful personality on TV Duo often ended up playing the role of the scapegoat because of someone else’s actions. However according to the current storyline Duo has a tragic past where he witnessed the church he grew up in being burned down in an attack by the Earth Sphere Unified Alliance leaving behind countless corpses. Furthermore, the name “Duo” has its own backstory. It was inspired by a leader of a group of homeless people he once met, named “Solo.” In his will, Solo said “Even in death, we’ll always be together.” This led him to choose the name “Duo,” which means “duet.” Therefore, it seems that the production might include aspects that were not extensively covered in the TV version such as Duo’s tragic past of never having witnessed a miracle. Quatre also seems to be mourning something like Duo, but in Quatre’s case it appears to be inside a luxurious mansion. Quatre, despite coming from a wealthy family has come to believe that he should not be happy especially since he has taken many lives in the war in FT. This may be a reflection of his feelings of self-blame. Troyes seems to be in the middle of a circus performance and scenes of shouting were also depicted. He usually seems cool and affectionate so seeing him lose his temper like this feels unusual, or rather it’s the first time I’ve seen it happen. It might lead to a deployment in Preventer 7 at 0.5. When it comes to Wufei, he’s surprisingly supportive of his younger sister, Lan. In this scene, the pose once struck by Wufei in the TV version is now taken by Meilan and the portrayal is such that Wufei even appears to be more of a supporting character. The pose that Wufei struck in the TV version might actually have been inspired by his sister Meilan’s stance. This Gundam can be identified as the TV version of Shenlong Gundam based on its facial design. “Perhaps it is not Altron but Shenlong depicted because of the feeling that it is the machine that my sister Lan protected.” The gravestone shown in the latter part is likely that of Wufei’s sister, Meilan. In the new footage there might be more stories related to Wufei’s sister, Meilan. After the five Gundam pilots were shown in the first half Dorothy appeared in her school uniform, saying, “I hope a war starts soon.” Additionally, Treize, Lady Une and Zechs and Noin from the OZ era are shown followed by depictions of the Gundam pilots. “Doesn’t it depict the Gundam pilots, who have been abandoned by the colony they were supposed to protect in the TV series and have lost their place, rising up once again?” Shouting just “Trois” feels a bit odd but it might be the way to express when someone regains their memory. Gundam Wing is a series where there are countless moments that make you think “No way, that wouldn’t happen,” so it’s probably best not to overthink it. The depiction of the Endless Waltz version of the mobile suits, though just for a moment exuded an overwhelming presence making everything seem divine. Is the setting Brussels, like in Endless Waltz? Deathscythe Hell, as if engaged in a ground battle with the Serpent unit. Heavyarms Custom wipes out the enemy with a full-open attack from a multi-lock-on before descending to Earth. By the way, the missiles on the front armor of the Endless Waltz version of Heavyarms Custom were not originally present in the movie; they were added as armaments in the Gunpla model. However they are accurately depicted in the latest PV. The performance of the Super Vernier alone at the event in San Diego elicited cheers from the local audience for Tallgeese. If it follows the Endless Waltz storyline, it should be Tallgeese III but given the appearance of Tallgeese I this part might actually feature in the Preventer 7 story from Episode 0.5. Tallgeese II is a machine that Treize assembled from spare parts of the first unit and according to the novel version of Endless Waltz Tallgeese III is said to be a machine that Treize left for Zechs. In other words, in the world after Endless Waltz, there is no Treize so there would be no reason to create Tallgeese II or Tallgeese III which leads to the possibility that Tallgeese I was reconstructed. It also seems like a scene where Nataku takes off after the battle in Brussels. This might be expressing that a new enemy appears before Wufei who has chosen the path of trusting people. “Sandrock remains Buppi-Gun.” The sound effect known as “Buppi-Gun” has been used since the original Gundam series but the term “Buppin Gun” became popularized in Gundam Wing becoming synonymous with Sandrock. By the way, it seems that the correct way to hold a shotel is actually in the reverse position, but since it looks cool, you shouldn’t worry about it. And then Epyon also makes an appearance. This features the Endless Waltz version design. The Endless Waltz version of the Epyon is a machine that appeared in the manga “Glory of the Losers.” It holds a similar role to the TV version of the Epyon but its detailed design differs in various aspects from the TV version. After Epion disappeared with Zechs at the end of the TV series it was entrusted to Zechs’ old friend, Elve Onegal in Frozen Teardrop. Eventually it was transferred to the Lanagreen Republic on Mars. The pilot is a holographic version of Zechs created from Milliardo’s residual thoughts left in the Zero System. Therefore if this Epyon appears in a new installment it might be set up as the Epyon that Elve was holding onto being restored. In the second half, they descend onto the beach where Heero attempted to commit suicide in the TV version. I feel like I want to point out that he’s opening the parachute too late, as usual, but since it’s Heero, I shouldn’t overthink it. Based on the fact that they are appearing in FT-style clothing it seems likely that this is also a meeting point in Preventer 7. The clever touch, albeit brief was that the four characters other than Heero were subtly replaced by FT characters. The one on the far left is likely “Mill Peacecraft,” the son of Zechs and Noin, right? Mill is a person who was in the position that Wufei held just before and is considered Wufei’s disciple. To the right is Trowa Phobos. The person, trained by Kathryn and initially unnamed like Trois Bâton eventually pilots the Prometheus Gundam in FT. To the right of that is Quatre Vingt Winner. “Quatrelle has a much younger sister.” In FT, it ultimately appears as part of the Sandrock series machine “Scheherazade.” And on the far right is a boy named “Duo,” who is believed to be the son of Duo and Hilde from the TV series. The person is difficult to address because they have the same name, “Duo Maxwell.” I am piloting a Deathscythe series machine called “Warlock.” The footage from here connects to the FT where Relena’s capsule lies dormant inside Heero’s statue. In FT, activating the PPP, which can massacre humanity with nanomachines requires Relena. To prevent this Relena put herself into artificial hibernation in a cryogenic capsule. This is what I believe this capsule to be. The next one to move on to is Odin Lowe. I am Heero’s father. He is the person who taught Heero the skills to survive without telling him that he was his father and emphasized the importance of “acting according to one’s emotions.” The fact that young Heero is casually holding a Leo figurine suggests that he might have been taught about the characteristics of the weapon using the figurine. The five Gundams that appear later might remind you of the MS units from FT due to their cloaked appearance. However considering their previously mentioned armament configurations it’s also possible that they are prototype machines featured in FT. The final people to appear are a person wearing Zechs’ mask and Milliardo. The masked individual might be Naina Peacecraft the twin sister born to Milliardo and Noin. In FT, there are parts that are difficult to understand because multiple characters with the same name, like Duo, appear. So I have a feeling that the film might depict the content of Preventer 7 which fills the gap between Endless Waltz and FT. I’m looking forward to the next information release. By the way, in Preventer 0.5 Episode 7, when mobile suits (MS) appear it is mentioned at the end of Endless Waltz that “in the subsequent history, the existence of mobile suits, including Gundams, never appeared again,” which could be interpreted as it being strange for MS to appear. However if the Gundam is cloaked and takes down the MS in a way that doesn’t leave a trace in people’s memories then it wouldn’t be recorded in history, so wouldn’t that be okay? “With that said, this was an analysis and commentary on the new story of Gundam W, based on the new music video and the latest information.” Personally, I’m really looking forward to the design of the Cloak custom and the content of the visuals in this work. I would be delighted if you could also share what you are all looking forward to. That’s all for this time. If you like it, please subscribe to my channel.

  25. Wish frozen teardrop novel is adapted into anime series with the return of Taurus and serpent mobile suits.. that would be awesome

  26. ガンダム解説考察を観てるはずなのにゲッター解説を見てる気分になるwチェンゲ新作情報かな?w
