  1. Same reason vergil can effortlessly exit his SDT, meanwhile Dante still has to take a small breather after exiting it.

  2. It's because he doesn't need to. He unlocked his true, more powerful DT like Dante did. Simply put, his DT simply physically changed after a complete awakening and became more powerful.

  3. First time I ever watched gameplay of devil May cry. It was someone's first playthrough of devil May cry 5 but they ruined it with mods and it was hilarious

  4. Not true. The real reason is that while he was Urizen he ate the fruit which gave him an amp. Dante, went the other route and used rebellion to Merge his two sides together..so really its kinda implied that Dante is the naturally stronger of the two because he didn't have to consume an outside force to boost himself

  5. There is that explanation and I like to think it's also thanks to the Qliphoth Fruit rejuvenating him after V remerged with Urizen allowing him to regain his Sin Devil Trigger.

  6. Vergil always valued his demon side more than his human side while Dante did the opposite, attaining and mantaining demonic power is easier for him
That also explains why he can exit out of SDT so effortlessly meanwhile Dante needs to be at full power (SSS) to attain even a fraction of that (Quad S)

  7. Huh. I just assumed it was also because his demon side ate the fruit of the demon tree so it gave him a massive power up.

  8. Reason is simpler than that.
Vergil has a constant need for power. It's a psychological thing, where a traumatic event, where the lack of a resource, became a goal to chase after infinitely.
That's why some who grow up poor, will develop a constant need to get money, the weak will develop a constant need to get power, etc.
Him using the more perfected form is a statement to the fact that he's only interested in max power and without end, will desire more forever.

His traumatic event? He got beaten to near death by demons that raided his home and also killed his mother. His mother hid Dante from the carnage, and tried finding Vergil, but died in the process while Vergil almost got killed as well.
That's what triggered his constant desire for power by any means necessary.

  9. So,I like this universe but don't know much,if Vergil is so powerful then how is Dante able to fight him as equal and beat him from time to time?

  10. Dumbest thing ever. I refunded Vergil after trying to use his devil trigger and it just spawns some useless hologram.

  11. I think you're just covering up Capcom's laziness. He doesn't have it because the gameplay with him is pure fan service. Since DMC4, Vergil has been taking up less space as a playable character, and I say this because in DMC3 he even got new weapons.

You can't say that Vergil has a stronger SDT when his brother can conjure a black hole and have a completely different gameplay style in this form. It's obvious that Capcom didn't want to invest more time than necessary in him.
