5 kits in two weeks, I think it's enough.
Now I'm waiting for some bugs correction as a gift from EA to the players for the 25th. Tired of spending 30 minutes on landscaping and then seeing terrain paint gone when I reload the lot.
Tired of actions cancelling or taking ages to register in the wonderful Sims "AI".
Tired of game randomly crashing for no reason (at startup, when loading any save, whenever it decides, with or without CC and mods).
Tired of the items that disappeared from the build mode. Tired of their "item sorting" system where you don't find anything.
Tired or random Sims showing up in goofy randomly generated outfits or half naked.
Tired of pushups.
Tired of full screen popups telling me I need to spend more money in bugged DLCs.
The Sims 4 is 10 years old, has 90 packs now. 90. Let that sink in. It's time to move on to a brand new game and game engine or take the necessary actions to fix things before proudly releasing new content, new bugs, and milking the players again and again.
Comeptition is coming, some people will move on and never look back if EA keeps wanting more money and gifting bugs.
Oh, someone in the Sims 4 watched a business show and said let's give them corporate chic because that turtleneck is giving Shiv Roy.

Why are the hips jutting so badly on the female? Male also looks very awkward, massive baloon-y arms, I wouldn't want that on an elegant sim in a buisness suit. Also, nothing new for males, same basic stuff… I'll pass on this kit.
The Sims 4 was definitely a mistake.
What's so irritating about the lack of men's clothing is that this would otherwise work perfectly for the type of gameplay that the refined living pack could create: the cold-blooded, smokin' hot CEO archetype. We all know the kind of trash Wattpad poisoned our brains with. This could be that. Give me sexy suits for my darkly gorgeous (certainly abusive) billionaire CEO boyfriend!

its a bit tricky but yeah you can change career outfits with cheats within the game (without mods)

Thank you Satch. I really hated this kit when I saw it on their store because the way they show off the items is SO BAD and doesn't reflect what they look like or the swatches or anything. I might actually buy this now. Shame about the menswear. This kit could have been a perfect opportunity for more mens suits, which we are lacking. We still don't have a poloneck blazer combo as far as I know.
This kit, the bela goth one and the refined room (or whatever it's called) should've been a single thing😭
The only really weird thing about this kit is that there is no watch for men, even though it's clearly the main accessory you would expect in a business chic outfit. Otherwise it is a really nice kit.

I actually really don't like the length of the dresses with the length of the boots.. I'm sure others will love this, but I think everything in this kit, from the shoes, to the pants, to the accessories are … ugly… Sorry 😅😅

Yeah; the feminine outfits are great! I would use it even out of any professional situation; it can be combined with other stuff in so many ways and the shoes are really great – there are so many fugly sims shoes, so we needed those! And the mens wear…. well; not that innovative. And yes, we agree on that annoying masculine tag bs! I might be getting this one. But none of the other kits. Too much.

As a cc user, all Sims default clothing is absolutely pathetic. Like embarrassingly so. I bet they restrict the creators they work with so much

So, apparently the creators of the CC only get 5% of the amount the kits make, and if you use their specific creator code it'll earn them 25cents per sale on top of that.
This might as well be called the '90s Power Dressing kit. I worked in business in the '90s and I am not exaggerating when I say I owned almost every one of the feminine clothing pieces–power suits; backless pumps; chunky hoop earrings; stiletto heel boots; colour-blocked dresses; and especially short-sleeved mock turtlenecks. This is exactly how we "dressed for success" back in the day.
I understand that there's only so many "acceptable" silhouettes for men's business wear (and menswear in general) and I can see why they played it pretty safe here. But I am hoping that future kits can at least play a bit more with color and patterns and textures. I could totally see a male sim rocking a long-sleeve shirt with a leopard print or tiger stripes for a night out at the club, for instance. Or a shirt with mini polka-dots … I own shirts like that. I also understand they probably have to be careful about creating something that looks too much like fashions made by actual designers due to copyright/artistic rights/whatever, unless they get a license with that brand. But when it comes to menswear they've played it far too safe for too long, and a lot of things are just starting to look repetitive now, and repetitive is boring. Do more with suspenders, or hats, or God forbid, more masculine jewelry. Give us an actual KILT, please. There's more that could be done with menswear with just a little imagination.
nah but there are SETTINGS for every sim. you can set a female sim to prefer masculine clothing and the other way around, we dont need all the things in both categories that rlly defeats the point
