The intimacy increase comes from the furnitures overall rating, you have to keep remaking them until you get higher and higher points to increase your intimacy level
You have to go back and remake them
Go back to the first few, and redo them over and over, and you will eventually get 300+ for each
Craft score for each piece has to be over 300
